Relax lang Paps, dont feed the Troll kundi lalaki at tataba lang po yan. Pero minsan kutusan para magtanda. Naala ko pa Mother ko dati pag makulit na kami masyado, pinagsasabigan na kami. Pag di pa kami nakinig ng utol ko. Tsinelas na katapat nyan.

BTT tayo, kung sa feature tayo magbabase walang sinabi ang Fort sa lahat ng SUV natin dito. Lol.. Matagtag pa.. Lol. Pero kung Fort ang gusto at dyan ka masaya, suportado ka namin.

Though fort has the highest selling ppv. Why is fort heavily compared to monty . Since monty is not even 2 nd highest selling ppv. May threat ba sa fort? Hehe

For me, (my sole opinion) getting a Fortuner only means you didn't do your homework checking the specs and doing a test drive or you did and is just willing to compromise just to drive the T-badge.

And for some of us, we don't intend to keep the car for 20 years just to see it become a classic, iba nga 3-5 years palit na agad ng bago. So why bother thinking how this car is going to be great 20-30 years from now. Heck I care hehehe. I want the car to be at it's best NOW. And now the monty is just the best at the budget I'm in.

I did a few back read and honestly I didn't find any of Mr minicarph's feedback/comment useful at all. Just more like nagpapaaliw lng sa page. Ung tipong maingay but you don't even try to digest what he wants to say hehehe

Keep the comments useful naman, and review the montero 2016/2017, not the Montero 20-30 years from now.

LOL. I did my research and compared eve fort and mont but we still chose fort NOT only because of the badge. Yeah, I know mont has a lot of techs over fort and it is a lot cheaper. I have several reasons why I chose it over the other two. Eve is actually our second choice. So don't think that choosing Fort over Mont means someone didn't do his homework. We actually had the 2011 mont. we had/have 3 from toyota, 4 from honda, 2 from mitsu, 2 from ford, 1 from isuzu.

I think when it comes to features, mas packed ang totl eve compared to totl mont.kahit pag compare mo yung premium vs titanium, mas lalo na pag titanium+ right? fort, super bare.

Yes. Pero yung sa features na sinasabi niya, he is wrong. Titanium+ is the best kung feature sa feature lang din sa lahat ng katapat niya sa segment.

Exactly the point hence the first part where it says ( my sole opinion). So I don't think injecting any one's opinion that hard makes sense. Tuloy this thread looks more like a comparison rather than a thread to see how the Montero is right now for those who already owns one. well, this is an opinion thread naman. everyone's opinion is welcome. it 's up to the reader to determine which is gold and which is balderdash.

It is tiring to see these Fort vs Montero "my SUV is better than your SUV" posts. Both are good SUVs. You cant go wrong with either and the other competing SUVs. It is not that others didnt do their homework. We have different opinions. Different priorities.

The Montero is still being murdered by the Fortuner in terms of Sales even with heavy discounts on the Montero (3:1 ratio). That just says something. Not that the Montero is bad, but the Fort is selling for reasons more than just the T badge alone. Remember, these two are neck and neck from the previous gen.

I'm buying the Montero primarily because of the Safety Features on the GLS Premium. It is important for me to have ESC at this day and age. Bonus is the value for money created by the huge discounts being offered.
