    Hi guyz...

What can you say about the Lancer CBU Japan?

Thinking too much of this car, if this will be a worthy car. Im about to buy my firsy brand new car.

It's SRP is 1,235,000 But the dealer gave me a huge discount - 197,000 & the lowest All in Downpayment i got is 23k. Amd the monthly is 25k

    Common Freebies as well.

Mahal ang quote sa iyo. Sa bangko ka lumapit at mag-apply ng loan instead na sa dealer. Mataas nga lang money out mo pag sa bank pero mas makakatipid ka nang at least 100k dahil mas mababa ang monthly sa bangko

Best to wait for the new Honda Civic. This car is so old.

Kung hindi mo kayang magcash out ng malaki, I don't think you should be getting a Lancer GTA.

    Don't you see the difference?
    23k DP + 25k for 60 months = 1.523M
    266k DP + 17k for 60 months = 1.286M

Magtatapon ka ng P237,000 dahil di mo kayang maghintay at mag-ipon nalang ng pang-DP.

I would suggest you consider a much cheaper car where you can afford at least 20% downpayment. That way, hindi ka matatalo sa interest.

Pero ikaw, bahala ka. Kung gusto mong high end yung kotse mo kahit baon ka sa utang eh why not. Pera mo naman yan.

    1. Space is not class-leading. Sikip ng Lancer compared to modern compacts like the Altis and Sylphy. Hindi pa flat yung center tunnel so yung middle rear passenger uncomfortable pag long trips kasi nakabukaka yung upo.

    2. Lakas sa gasolina. The Lancer GTA gets 6-7 km/L in moderate to heavy city driving. In comparison, more modern 2.0 compacts like the Mazda 3 2.0R and Altis 2.0V will get about 8 km/L in the same conditions. That's a difference of about P1,500 per month in fuel costs.

    3. Low resale value - compared to newer compacts, mura nalang ang Lancer GTA kasi luma na and hindi naglalayo ang presyo ng used cars basta same model kahit ilang taon ang agwat.

    4. Cheap plastics - medyo cheap yung build quality ng Lancer EX compared to the newer compacts (Altis, Mazda 3, Sylphy).

I still think the Lancer EX is a good buy. Although personally at that price, ASX nalang ako. Malaki rin discount sa ASX.

But then again, kung yung 260k DP di mo kayang bayaran I don't think you should be getting such an expensive car in the first place.
