Sirs! kamusta na po! ngayon lang po ulit nakapag-reply, ang daming po na back-thread dito po sa topic thread na ito...
(tires/seats, shocks, etc.) hehehe
yung unit po namin is one month already....di pa rin umaabot ng 100kms sa odometer..

based po sa my observation during long weekend...
kung sa tires po, di ko sure kung compressed air or may halong nitrogen yung unit namin.., tumingin po ako dun sa TPMS...ganun pa rin yung pressure, pero increased pag ginagamit lalo't summer time, observed ko po during driving in a very short period of time, increase yung tire pressure ng 1.5PSI... (29-31, bone stock, 265/65R17) nagiging 30/31F 32/33R yung PSI...

kung nitrogen po ang ilalagay sa tires...maraming benefits, primary risk lang po is the very hazardous content ng nitrogen air, (inert gas) sa health, and sa balancing issues for safety (design kasi po ang tires ng land vehicles, inflated w/compressed air)

then po sa start-up idling....(every morning or kung kailan magustuhan ma-start), from 25mins to increase the temp gauge decreased to 15 mins...then after the temp gauge increase lagpas the C line, i-rev it up to the 3K rpm...walang black smoke po na lumalabas..and the engine become silent...(.800RPM since startup)

during oil check, natatawa ako pero in reality, kakaiba yung dipstick ng diesel compared sa old gas engine po namin..

seatbelt and door open warning, yes, di po activated ang seatbelt warning, pero yung door open warning, may bleep once naka-takbo before 20KPH..pero yung seatbelt warning po, hindi naman po big deal sa akin, pero a common sense before driving na kailangan i-tuck up ang seatbelt....


rear door, kung hindi po ito mai-sara from full open, pwede naman na pitikin w/a small force para sumara yung rear door...(hindi naman po katulad ng AUV na full blast para isara yung rear door)


and lastly po..yung mga nakakuha ng 2014?! paano po ba makukuha yung latest plate natin?!

Congrats, I can only give my feedback sa plate, got mine last December, followup lang ako sa Liason officer ng dealer where i got my Monty, I was informed last March i have a plate number assignment na, to follow na daw yun plate, then come April, i already got the plaste ( without the sticker), as usual to follow daw......

Congrats Sir on your Monty, i can only comment on the plate , i got my Monty last December, after few followups dun sa Liason officer ng Mitsu Dealer where i got my MOnty, i got the plate first week of April( still old plate), took 4 months, still no sticker......

Thanks sir! I'll check out import elementz after my PMS this week.

No problem Sir, i opted not to install Turbo timer, from the feedbacks from masters here, before i park i drive on low rpm ( 5 to 10 minutes), wala ng hataw. they say enough na yun for cool down.

Instead, i decided to install other mods like EGR blanking, cabin filter at OCC......

Anyone here na nakasubok na pagawa sa Seat Tailor? Planning to get leatherette covers. Mas ok ba sila than Seat Mate?
Sa Seat Mate ako nagpagawa ng beige seat cover for my Escape. Pansin ko lang after a few months, nangingitim yung cover. Try ko sana Seat Tailor baka mas ok. TIA!

A turbo timer is a device designed to keep an automotive engine running for a pre-specified period in order to automatically execute the cool-down period required to prevent premature turbo wear and failure. After a period of driving when a turbocharger has been working hard, it is important to let the engine run at idle speed for a period, allowing the compressor assembly to cool from the lower gas temperatures in both the exhaust and intake tracts. At the same time the lubricating oil from the engine is able to circulate properly so the turbine won't burn the lubricating oil that would otherwise be trapped within the charger with the turbine rotating at high speed. With regard to modern automotive turbochargers, the need for a turbo timer can be eliminated by simply ensuring the car does not produce any 'boost' (during driving) for several minutes prior to the ignition being shut off. Most turbo timers are based on digital electronics.

Turbo timers can usually be disabled by an external switch, this is normally done using the handbrake switch, or using an automatic one.

Dalawang screw lang yan sir, bili na lang kayo pamalit tapos kayo na magkabit.

Kung medyo ayaw nyo, dalhin nyo sa autoshop na may binebenta na bombilya tapos pakabit nyo na rin.

Ang inaalala ko sir zixx, kung wala ako makita mahiraman and it will take time, baka mas magkaroon sila ng reason na caused yun ng tire. Though for now wala naman ako problema sa dealer ko, Diamond Greenhills. Pero of course, I'd appreciate any help. Thanks sir! And nun binasa ko yun warranty, di naman naka specify anything about changing tire will void the warranty.

Thanks again for the input sir Zixx. I was able to borrow my orig wheels from the shop, and brought my monty at casa. They'll replace the shock, waiting for the parts to be delivered from plant. Sabay ko na sa 5K PMS.

Hi po sa inyong lahat! Im new to this thread dahil kakukuha ko lang ng 2014 montero gls-v 4x2 ko last week.
Ang problema ko lang po di pa naibibigay sakin yung SDCARD for navigation ng dealer. According to them medyo nagkakahirapan sa supply and to follow na lang yung card. Yung dealer na binilihan ko pala is Carworld Marilao branch.

Just want to ask kung ganon din ang experience ninyo dun sa mga kumuha lang nitong mga nakaraang buwan...

Secondly, i also found out dealer option pala yung (tire pressure monitors) wala kasi yung saakin and they said sa 4x4 lang siya available but its neither indicated sa brochure... Yung po bang iba sa inayo na may GLS-V 4x2 merong tire pressure monitor?

Salamat po in advance sa replies ninyo...

Sir, congrats to your new monty. Yun sa akin GLS-V din, bought last January 2014. Wala din tire pressure monitor sensor sa akin, our models have receiving unit via head unit for tire pressure monitor. We need to buy the sending unit and install it in 5 tires including spare, last time I check sa Winterpine its 15k.

boss delacruz ganyan din case namin.kumuha kmi last march 27 tapos ung sd card to follow nalang daw.after 2 weeks bago namin nkuha sd card.btw mitsubishi otis kmi kumuha.

Ahhhh so mukhang sa GLS-V hindi talaga siya kasama... Mahal pala yung tire sensor. hehe ok na ko sa magcheck manually... bili na lang ako piyesa ng bike.. hahaha
