most ATs have a button next to the AT stick, that can be depressed so that the stick can be moved.
it's in the howner's manual siguro.

That is correct doc.

However, generally you can just push it from D to N (?).... That's how it is in our AT rides....

i was thinking kasi, that TS wanted to pull the key out of the car, and then push the car. or something like that.
because that's what we do, in the parking lot. "urong-sulong game", only bigger.

is it before the engine even cranks?

it can mean anything, po, depending on one's fertile imagination.
a recording of the actual sound would be appreciated.

nomally may ticking sound after switching off the engine. one is yung sa EGR kapag nagsara yung valve. ano ba yung cold start? putting the ignition key to on position lang at hindi paandarin yun engine? or pagkaandar?

Thanks po monty_GTV, sorry for confusing question po. Pero pagkaandar po ito. Pero after mga 3-5mins idle run, wal npo yung “tik tik tik” noise. Parang noise from vave;not sure. Hirap naman sa casa itanong kaagad kase baka sabihin T-Belt replacement kaagad. Just 65K km odo only. Normal lang po kaya itong noise nato? TIA
