in page 414, i posted here a problem regarding installing a central lock for my glx..
there was another person in this thread that had the same problem as mine, wherein
sabi sa dealers namin, they can't install central lock on all 5 doors.

ung sa case ko, if i want daw to include the hatchback in the central lock, pwede BUT hindi na cya ma-manual lock.
pumayag na ko, kasi kahit anong pilit ko hindi daw tlaga nila kaya.... saka isip ko ok lang naman cguro na hindi na ma-manual lock...

AND THEN, last night the central lock FAILED. ayaw nya maglock, tumutunog lang cya ng normal when locking/unlocking but the
locks are not moving.
so this is the time i realize how important the manual lock for the hatchback is... kasi i can lock all 4 doors manually pro no use kasi wala na ngang manual ung hatchback..

haven't brought the car in yet (natatamad pa ko kasi badtrip pa din ako sa nangyari nung dinala ko ung sasakyan for the reverse issue). so i just called them up, to tell the problem and told them that i want them to return the manual lock sa hatchback.. and just like nung first time (5 months ago) na nilagay ung central lock, they told me na kung ibabalik ung manual, di na nila maisasama sa central lock ung hatchback... eventhough i told them that other dealers can do it, di daw tlaga nila kaya. paikot ikot lang kami sa pinag-uusapan.

guys, any suggestion on how i can FORCE these guys to take my concerns seriously...

napaisip tuloy ako kung may gender-bias ang mga tao sa casa towards girls... kasi alam nila
walang alam e... haist...

I don't know either, pero ako tinotolerate ko na lang, minsan lang naman maexperience, saka you're not always driving in reverse naman.

as per the central lock, san ka nagpagawa? ibalik mo sa kanila, 1 year warranty naman yan. not sure dun sa issue na hindi na pwede i-manual lock, pero yung saken naman pina-installan ko (sa Diamond Q. Ave.). All five doors naman ang auto lock nya, at pwede pa din naman i-lock manually, mejo mahigpit nga lang mga locks.

regarding dun sa reverse issue, concerned ako kasi lumalala cya..
when i got the car (5 months ago), there was no issue at all... smooth lahat kahit sang gear ko cya ilagay..
then 2 months later, it became "notchy".. still bearable...
then a month after that, it became "super notchy"... that i have to do it twice , para pumasok cya...
then a month after that, still "super notchy" when moving the stick PLUS it developed a grinding sound (on the first 3 seconds moving on reverse)..
then now, ung grinding sound, there are times na hindi na lang 3 seconds... there was one time, the grinding sound was there the entire time i drove out of our garage... though this latest symptom is intermittent...

that's why i am doubtful to believe if this is indeed dahil bago pa yung car..
kasi dapat di ba kung yun ang reason,,, magstart cya sa malala then as time pass by mawalala din ang issue..
ito hindi e.. palala cya ng palala...

i brought the car to the casa when it developed a grinding sound...
the attendant there told me, that as per their checklist, everything is just fine...but, she also told me that i am not the 1st person who
reported such symptoms to them... pang 4th na daw ako... pro wala naman daw memo galing sa planta na may something wrong sa reverse ng glx
kaya unless may makita silang kakaiba based on their checking wala sila magagawa kundi sabihin na normal lang un.. she went on to say that they are taking
note of our cases, and they will consolidate w/ other dealers to see kung may issue ba talaga...

regarding the lock, dun ko din sa casa pinalagay...
nagawa naman nila na lahat 5-doors auto lock pero yun nga, ung hatchback daw di pwedeng pareho..
sabi nila tatanungin daw muna nila ung ibang dealer kung pano nila ginawa yung lahat ok...
sabi ko tawagan nila ako kapag may concrete na silang plano kung papano gagawin yon bago ko dalhin ung sasakyan ko dun...

Thanks for the heads up about the Reverse issue. observe ko din yung saken, 1 month mahigit pa lang naman yung auto saken, sana naman wag magkaganyang issue.

My bad about the central lock issue. Kala ko lahat ng doors ang hindi mo na ma-i-manual lock. Check ko mamaya kung kaya ma-i-manual lock yung hatchback ng saken. sabihin mo sa kanila magtanong sa Winterpine! Dun sa Quezon Ave ako nagpagawa, not sure kung sa lahat ng mitsu CASA e winterpine ang nagkakabit ng accessories. wala silang karekla reklamo. Pagkatanong ko pa lang kung magkano yung pa-install ng Central Lock, sila agad nagsabi na kasama na yung 5th door/hatchback sa central lock. Saang CASA yan? di ko magets bakit di nila kaya gawin yun kung nagawa naman ng iba.

yun pagsabit (notchy sound) during shifting sa reverse is normal kasi na experience ko rin yan. You can try shifting to other gears 1-4 first before ka mag shift ng reverse. Do it while clutch is engaged.

Bout the 5th door hatch lock, mine can be lock manually or centrally. Perhaps hinde pa capable ang installer ng casa mo. Ask them to get help with winterpine para mabigyan sila instruction. I can lock all my doors manually or centrally FYI.

Try nyo po sir ipa demo yung unit, manuals and booklet included,. Check nyo din po yung spare key kung ggna.. all in all dapat apat na susi ibibgay sainyo, 1 kos key yung may unlock/lock button, spare key yung w/o lock/unlock button and 2 metal keys.. yung iba kasi di nabigyan ng agent nila nung spare key... nakipag coordinate pa sila ulet para ma issuehan los yung iba nman di gumagana yung spare key na binigay sa kanila..

I beg to disagree sir, its an obvious case of cost cutting or simplification of production. The mirage is our fourth car equipped with gated type A/T (CVT for mirage) so its dead easy for us to locate P,R,N, and D w/o looking. Pero its not justifiable na dahil me indicator na sa dashboard wala na lighting sa transmission lever. All of the three cars i mentioned have indicators on the dash as well as lighting sa transmission lever. With that reasoning, go tell mitsubishi, toyota, or even BMW to kill the lights on their transmission levers of their vehicles since all of the cars naman for sure have indicators sa dash. Malabo na gawin nila yun diba? Were talking about paying attention to details here. Which the mirage lacks.

I know this is a mirage forum. And we are fellow owners. Pero we have to be fair din for we could mislead other prospective buyers. Peace po.

Yes sir, is i have said. Its dead easy to shift those gated type even without looking. Pero its not the reason as well na walang ilaw dahil me indicator na sa dash. Its a cost cutting or production simplification thing as i have said. Since most of the cars naman does have that as standard. Even the eco-cars.

Nakakaupod. Pag kapit na and mukhang di namamatayan, slowly release. Pag uphill, ramdam mo naman pag fully egaged na yung clutch. The first gear's ratio is enough to pull it up maski matarik pa. Magiging prone sa slide if you remain halfway sa clutch.

Ahh opo ramdam naman. Newbie pa kasi hehe.
Pero sir question ulit.
Di naman nakakasira or upod ng clutch lining(di ko sure kung yun tawag) kapag half clutch and half gas when not moving sa matarik na daan, like sa traffic ganyan.. Kasi usually when you did that your car won't move parang nakabrake. Ok ba siya? Or affected si clutch na pwede masira pag ganun kaya mas mainam pagbrake nalang gagamitin tapos change to accelerator when "go or car starts moving in front of you..
Thanks, sobrang newbie palang kasi hehe natatakot maatrasan ang nasa likod kaya I use this half clutch and half gas. May konting atras kasi pag brake then change to gas. Yung iba kasi grabe makabuntot e.
