Share ko lang, mirage gls cvt, travelled 252 kms today using 16.039 liters of petron unleaded gasoline. Bale manual computation ko is: 15.71 kms/ltr. Mixed city and hiway driving including hataw mode at slex and light to moderate traffic in calamba and candelaria, quezon. Hope that it would improve pa, so far so good. BTW 388 kms on the odo.

ako yung nagpost sa FB page ng resibo ng PMS sa mirage, actually 4 din ang charge sa akin kaya lang nagdispute ako kasi sa according manual is 3 lang, saka sa quote na ibinigay nila sa akin bago umpisahan ang trabaho, kaya lang ng magbabayaran na e, 4 na synthetic oil ang nakalagay sa invoice..dun na ako magumpisang magquestion, then sabi nila kulang daw yung 3, mga 3.5 liters ang magagamit sa unit according sa kanila, kaya lang di ako pumayag kasi according sa specs is 3 lang.

Hi guys, update lang sa FC. Found out na yung MID parang nagcocompute lang sya per point to point trip lang. I noticed that after switching the engine off the MID AVG FC also resets kaya siguro hindi sya accurate considering how much fuel you put in. dapat cguro continuous trip sya until maubos yung fuel na pinakarga mo. I tried Manual compute with reports below

> Dec 9, fuel bar blinks I gas up Petron XCS 9.69 liters * Php51.55
> reset trip A/B, reset AVG FC
> Route Fairview to Makati (Dec 10) with super heavy traffic! Stopped at office
> Route Makati to Fairview (Dec 10) again traffic. Stopped at home
> Fairview to Makati (Today AM)
> Makati to Fairview (Today PM)
> Fuel bar blinks, total distance travelled now 113.4km
> MID shows 13.2km/l
> by Manual compute, 113.4km/9.69liters = 11.7 km/l

Yes, point-to-point talaga ang MID display. Also use the full tank method for filling up, it's much more accurate. The low fuel warning is not a reliable indicator of how much is left. In my experience you can have as much as a fifth of a tank left when the warning appears, which is a huge margin of error.

4 liters ang binayaran dahil 1 container yun. Me inuwi sya sobrang oil pero hindi ko sinukat kung gaano. Pwede gamitin next time kasi lakas umubos ng kilometers si Kuya.

these are my stats using the near empty tank, its easier to gather more data with this method than with full tank. more data helps statistician establish the variance, as for me i just want to establish the fuel economy difference between moderate, heavy, light traffic which we normally encounter when driving in the real world

as to whether its accurate or not, ill let the numbers speak for itself

btw i dont refill the moment the bar blinks i refill when the gas icon blinks (much less fuel left)

not bad, but our Sorento can do better. hehe 19 Km/L * 100kph max. with the powerful 2.2 Diesel CDRi R-eVGT.

the mirage will probably shine on city driving. never tried it in the city yet. I'm using it for highway duties until 1000kms. currently at 790Kms. but as for Highway FC, it doesnt have much difference than our vios with the 1.5 4A/T. i'm quite disappointed to be honest. well, lets see after the 1000PMS if there will be an improvement.
