Mga kapatid,
Today we discovered this:
My wife had the keyless fob in her pocket but I was driving.
The engine continued running despite her going our of the car.
Here is the fictional scenario : Sa isang madilim na parking lot, paglapit mo sa driver's door, a carnapper threatens you with a knife or such. He pushes the unlock button. While holding your arm, starts the engine and leaves you with the keyless fob in your pocket.
Is this just a product of my playful imagination or a loophole in the KOS?
Yung pagbaba ni misis with the fob in her pocket hindi imagination. Baka bukas mag-role play kami sa kidnapper scenario. Tuloy kami sa biglang liko wahehehe....
So, ano tingin nyo guys. Pop or Flop?
thanks sir!
mirage guys! please like facebook.com/stivoracing
we might just develop new mufflers and other parts for our mivec machines if there is a demand for them![]()
Puro NLEX driving. Max speed 100kph, Min 80kph. Some city driving. The same route sa Sorento R-eVGT AWD, 8.2 L/100 km, so around 12 km/l din. Hindi mabigat ang paa ko kasi inaalalayan ko pa ang pagbreak-in sa Engine and CVT. Kaya max speed ko is 100kph lang.
Encountered another problem. Yung steering wheel whenever you turn it parang me small bit of plastic na nalalaglag laglag. Yung tumutunog sa brake na fix na. Yung backing plate nakadikit sa rotor.
With all these problems on our unit, and a FC that is slightly better than the vios 1.5 w/ 4 A/T, i'm having a sort of buyer's remorse.

kamusta na po mga mirage owners any new learnings or up to date notes for GLS-CVT?
thanks
Reading in this forum and in fb page, talagang hindi ganun more than efficient sa FC compared to other cars, at least more than efficient man lang sana since ito yung top advertisement catch ng Mirage as compared to others.
I'm also checking the 1.4L Trend AT Fiesta in the Ford Philippines website from time to time, though it is over P100K priced than the Mirage kung marami naman problems ma-encounter sa Mirage, at minor flaw na lang sa Fiesta, I'm having a 2nd thought. I'm a new car buyer, and actually the S.A. told me 3 weeks ago na ready for release GLS CVT grey. So my question sir rachet23, hindi na ba ganun karaming flaws ang Fiesta? Thanks
,
Ako wala naman kaproblema-problema sa mirage ko. GLS M/T here.
Di naman ganun kalaki expectation ko sa FC nya, Kase as what someone said on this forum, A 21km/l is another mitsu marketing hype, and a controlled road conditions, and siguro naka off din A/C.
A 10km/l on city and above 14km/l on full highway is good for me. my2cents..,.,.,.,.,.,'
Thanks sir Ratchet23. hmmmm....ano kaya reasons for this...for those who were able to achieve 18-23 km/L with their Mirage CVT, ano po top speed ninyo...i'm thinking that may be a factor kung bakit mas malakas sa gas...theory ko lang po...baka pag 80kph-100kph ang takbo nasa mga 12 km/L ang FC...and if 60kph-80kph baka dun aabot ng mga 18-23 km/L na FC.
for an ordinary sedan driving at 80kph and wants to increase to 100kph, you will need atleast 20 to 30 percent more energy.. because of air resistance, almost same principle with any other car.. for MT, changing gears at their maximum torque is more fuel efficient.
