'Etong dalawang bading na ito ang galing. They were able to get 19 Km/L after a test drive of 500+ Km.
Thai badings on Mirage FC

I compared the power to weight ratio of some small cars considering curb weight only plus two 70 Kg passengers.
Ito kasi ang common driving configuration ko araw araw. Here are the number of Kilograms that each horse in these cars carry.
All automatics kasi gurang na ako at gusto ko hhwd (holding hands while driving).

Mirage 1.2 CVT = 12.8 Kg per horse (Kg/hp)
Vios 1.3 G AT = 13.4 Kg per horse
Accent 1.4 AT = 11.8 Kg bawat kabayo
Picanto 1.0 EX AT = 14.7 Kg/hp

Mirage is pretty good.
Although the numbers of the slightly bigger displacement Accent really impresses me.
Vios horses carry more load than Mirage horses.

I just wonder how a drop in K&N filter plus Petron Blaze 100 helps in adding more horses without voiding the 5yr warranty.

pwede naman yan drop-in. just revert back to stock air filter upon having the Mirage serviced at CASA. for the Petron Blaze 100, I don't think na makakaaffect yan sa HP. very very little kung meron man.

yes, the mirage is light. and the engine is right for its size. the paper specs does not always translate on how the vehicle feels to drive. for example, the vios has good low-end power where you can gauge the car accelerating from stop, which is useful for stop and go traffic. while the Mirage feels "Pigil" upon accelerating from a complete stop. that is why I also want to test the Mirage M/T out of curiosity. baka naman its the CVT that causes the slow response. not to metion the sliding clutch feeling at high RPMs.

CVTs naturally have the "sliding clutch" feel as the transmission changes ratios. Ganun din yung Honda Jazz.

i saw a blue mirage in citimotors makati sir but not sure kung gls or glx, ni check ko rin kasi ung unit ko na gls m/t SE, but sa monday na lang kukunin.

this morning lang kasi kami pumunta sir , marami ngang dumating na unit nila pero wala akong napansin na gray mostly black glx. gray din kasi ang order namin kaso wala pa daw kaya nag agree na ako sa white which is second choice ko so sa monday na lang sya ma release.

I wish to share my manual computations too;

Given;

Full tanked mirage gls m/t = 25.20 liters (unleaded)
Distance travelled = 92.70 kms (cubao to sta rosa, laguna & VV)
Refuelled to full tank = 5.22 liters (unleaded)
Manual computation = 17.75 kms/li


Notes:

Road traffic condition. = Heavy traffic to very light traffic (cubao, edsa via slex to sta rosa, laguna)
Ave. rpm = 2,100 rpm
"Ave. speed = 85 kph"

85kph, average speed? (MID reading ba, estimate lang o max speed)
Heavy traffic to light?
Bilis nito brad!

Bumibyahe ako sa provincial road pero nagaaverage lang ako ng 57kph(max) based sa MID.

GLS guys need feedback. tinry ko gamitin ung emergency keys na nahuling binigay sakin ng SA ko. Hindi siya nagwork!

Here's what i did: Inunlock ko using KOS para hindi magalarm then nilayo ko ung KOS. Pagpasok ko inilagay ko ung emergency key sa slot tapos tinry ko siya istart pero ayaw. Naglight up lang ung key sa dash.

Has anyone successfully started their car using emergency key?

Nakita ko sa Dagupan kung paano ka-diligent yung inspector/checker ng unit na dumarating. Binubusi lahat ng functions, loob ng hood, compartment, at mga susi para I-istart yung engine...

Susi, yan yung primary na nachecheck kung may problema, hindi maayos ang system ng casa.
(pag hindi naka-salpak yung manual key sa slot hindi rin mag-i-start yung engine)

Si Bryan ok kausap yan, kababayan ko din.
(Pero yung SA ng ASX ko sa ibang grupo galing, nakilala ko lang sila through bank.)

But I reccomend Bryan kasi mas kampante ako kausap lalo na pag technicality ng sasakyan pinagusapan.
