December 4th, 2012 11:15 AM #2Happy naman sa mirage except for FC. I have a feeling na nashortchanged ako. Ang layo ko sa 21km/l nila. It was their selling point so dapat achievable kahit papano o at least man lang lumapit-lapit. Hehehe Di katanggap-tanggap na marketing hype kasi false advertising pag ganun.
I will be happy sa 15km/l - 17km/l hehehehe. Ngayon kasi nasa 12km/l pa lang ako.
Saan ko ba mahahanap kung anong klase ng test ang ginawa nila? Tsaka sa Thailand ba kaya nila yung 21km/?

nakita ko din ng malapitan yung mirage - there's a red unit on display sa TriNoma last Saturday.
mukhang ok na ok pang-city driving sa size nya.
parang singlaki ng ford fiesta?

ang main selling point ng Eon ang fuel consumption, I did 29.4 kpl once with AC on (full tank to full tank method). Actually hindi naman Mirage ang direct competitor ng Eon kundi Alto.
Eto detailed computation:
Php600/weekly * 53.42/Petron unleaded (province)
44 kilometers monday-friday, around 50 kilometers saturday and sunday (grocery, palengke, simba at pasyal sa mga kaibigan) saktong blinking na yan ng monday that's 24 kpl.
You can't really compare Mirage to Eon.

this is provincial traffic with minimal or no bumper to bumper traffic at all right? that condition will never be the case in metro manila
i still prefer mirage over eon bcoz with mirage im given 2 choices; power & speed (spirited driving) or fuel economy (drive slow in a route with minimal traffic)
with eon i can only go with fuel economy, mahihirapan yan sumampa sa mga steep flyover here in manila or going up to baguio
