Hi fellow monty owners.i have a simple query.can we change the orange color in our gauge and the aircon and radio orange colors to blue or white just like in other cars like yung fortuner?nasisilaw kasi ako sa orange.gusto ko sana blue or white color ng ilaw sa gauge.possible ba ito?if yes,san papabago and any idea how much?thanks

medyo mahirap yung procedure niyan sir. yung lighting kasi niyan are leds na nakahinang, you have to remove them one by one tapos magsolder ka nung new color na leds na gusto mo. hindi siya katulad nung tipong may mga sockets lang na easily replaceable yung bulbs.

Try checking with Kid Audio at Binan near Pavilion Mall. I had mine installed there. Although some accessories on my MS like the nomad floor mats, and the ralli art pedal pads installed at autobisyo, I have regrets I should have them installed at Kid Audio. Autobisyo items are too pricey and their installers are not that adept comparing at Kid Audio. Imagine at Autobisyo, regarding the GTV oem cf spoiler clip type, their price is P15k! Whoa! total rubout! In citimotors, Alabang it was only 10k, and in SFM San Pablo, it's P12k.

As you know, sa GLX V Limited walang monitor so nagpa install ako ng 2din HU sa Kid Audio (total P25k all in with Papago X8 version of the GPS, Bluetooth, DVD, Radio, Ipod, USB among others) kasama na yung reverse cam and TV (including the antenna kaya nadagdagan ng sungay monty ko, he he). Ang labor sa Kid Audio is P350 lang. Mas mahusay ang mga installers doon. My previous vehicle (Innova) lahat ng accessories dun ko pina-install and wala naman akong naging problem. Visit ka na lang dun and inquire about the price of the reverse cam itself na lang.

Share ko lang, mula nung makuha namin unit namin last May (gls-v), never pa siyang nag alarm, so out of curiosity triny kong pa alarmin via kicking sa gulong, at hindi nga nag alarm. May prob kaya sa sensor?

Sir, for me, the easiest way to check if your alarm is working is manually use your key in opening the door., when the alarm sounds, it's working, if not, better activate it or pa-check sa casa. naka-ilang tadyak at sipa rin yung gulong ko sakin pero ayaw talaga mag-alarm, bka pa-adjust ko rin yung sensitivity nya.

According to my SA meron 2013 but no changes on previous one hope he's not joking wawa naman yung kakukuha lang eh luma na agad hehehe

Pero kung walang changes then it's not really a 2013 model? Pero if they are calling it a 2013 model then baka refresh look pero no change sa specs. Maybe that's what he meant about no change?

is it true that once you install a turbo timer bought and installed from the casa it'll negate the warranty on the turbo?
tapos wala daw silang oem na turbo timer? :thumbdown:

yes that is what SAs in dealerships tell you. mitsubishi warranty voided for equipment not included in your stock unit except for a few exceptions (dont know what they are) even when the additional equipment are casa-installed (turbo timer, rear brake light included among others). your warranty claim is with the accessories shop of the dealership that installed your additions.

on my part my SA said the MS does not have a cabin filter as stock. i think he mentioned the outlander as having one and the older monteros (i think the one before the strada-based models)

hehe talagang ganyan sila(SA), mostly walang maasahan pagdating sa pagsagot sa mga tanong natin. basta maayos ang pagkaka install, malinis, walang problema sa warranty yan sir. btw, ano po ba style ng gamit ninyo sa monty ninyo, baka kasi pwede na walang turbo timer. if mainly city driving, you dont need it sir. now kung everyday slex/nlex, well dun mo lang kelangan.

sna sinabi mo sir yun yung nagpapasarap sa sinigang na baboy! ahehehehe!

anyway, my SA told me that covered pa rin sya ng warranty, I just had it installed three weeks ago. so far so good naman sir., amata brand at 3.5K. before kasi sinugod ko sila when the reverse cam was already broken after a week of installation sabay ng pag release ng unit. baka natakot yata kaya oo na lang ng oo sa sinasabi ko., minsan sindakan din sir lalo na kung mejo nahihiya tayo (as consumers) to stand up for what is right. just my two cents worth
