26k from peoples gen-diamond casa, third year straight ako bumili sa kanila. so far plan ko sa kanila kumuha till sa 5th year pero nag tatanong parin ako ng ibang quote..

iirc,nasa 27k yung insurance ng monty ko.sa metrobank yta kinuha ni esmi ;)

2012 montero gls-v a/t.. premium is 14,860.91 renewed last july2015
participation is fixed * 2k.. insured sa Oriental Assurance
no aog ksi di naman bahain sa lugar ko, pero plus 5k ang premium if with aog
premium payable in 3 monthly installments

Para makatulong sa emission, pwde ba water hosed cleaning ang exhaust pipe?

I think so diba kasi wala naman catalytic ang montero 2012.

Egr blanked at 30k kms, frequent unioil user, oem air filter cleaned with tabas foam, oil at 2000kms old,

Day before emission damihan ko concnetratio ng unioil diesel (petron kasi madalas coz of their promo contest). At air clean ko air filter. Add sa water clean pipe pag pwde talaga.

Sir, LTO Kawit OR P3,024.06. Smoke test P430, TPL insurance P1,250. Info from insurance 5 months bago nakuha ang sticker at bagong plates.

na-experienced ko rin yan before nung una pa lang at di ko pa kabisado gamitin yung sportronic mode at paddle shifters ng unit ko. but when i learned about the behavior ng adaptive tranny and i get used to using the sportronic mode, bihira na ako mag full AT. very convenient gamitin yung paddle shifters lalo sa mga zigzags at uphills. it complements din kapag may throttle controller ka kasi mas maganda yung response sa arangkada at during overtaking. lagi kong na-experienced ang SIA o sudden intended acceleration

Bros, may naka-experience na ba sa inyo ng erratic transmission. I have experienced this on my gtv unit. After driving around 40km of twisties and up and down roads ayun ayaw ng magprimera o magchange to fourth gear. Naging okay lang nung pinahinga ko ng 10mins or so. May idea po ba kayo kung anong problema ng monty ko? Thanks.

read about adaptive transmission.normal yan, kpag na sense ng ecu na nagshift ka plagi ay i-adapt niya yung driving style mo. automatic na siya magshift sa right gear n plagi mo ginagamit. tama yung ginawa mo to reset,stop ka for a while then ok na ulit.better still,bago ka umakyat sa uphills at zigzag,mag sportronic o manual mode ka na para masunod mo ung gusto mong pag up o downshift.make use of the paddle shifters,npaka convenient sa mga zigzags at uphill/downhill roads

Yung problema talaga pagdating ng 40-50kms ng travel na may uphill-downhill roads, nagloloko ung transmission kahit nasa straight road na ako, say nasa 3rd gear, ayaw magupshift kahit 4k-5k rpm na at 60-80kph. Or complete stand still ayaw magprimera kahit paakyat na yung road, nagsstay lang sya sa 2nd gear or 3rd gear. Parating ganun ang nangyayari. I don't think marereplicate ung problem kung hindi itatakbo ng malayuan ung unit ko.

agree with montygtv and baludoy. though yung ayaw niya bumaba sa 1st gear, ngayon ko lang narinig yan. have checked your tranny fluid level?
btw there are 2 ways to reset yung selfie mode ni monty.
1. park *safe area , restart engine
2. rev until red line

Normal naman ung atf level. Say galing ako ng 60kph (ayaw na kasing magupshift sa 4th gear kaya nilimit ko na lang sa 60kph *3k-4k rpm) tapos magmemenor ako kasi may tarik na paahon ayaw talagang magdownshift kahit naka stand still. Kaya ang tagal at ang ingay ng makina paahon kasi 2nd at 3rd gear lang ang nagagamit ko.
Sinubukan ko na yung pagrestart ng engine pero kung sandali lang di naman nawawala. Kailangan above 15mins ang pahinga.
Di ko pa naman natry yang rev until red line. Sa "park" lang ba nakaengage ang shifter?

* sir GV, thanks. wala naman naging major issues. around 80k kms ako nagpalit ng timing belt. malapit ka na rin. i highly recommend bro zix for the timing belt replacement.
