2012 Mitsubishi Adventure?

Sirs,

My adventure was in Tacloban City and is one of the victim of super typhoon Yolanda. Submerged and the bad part was; it was sea water and not just rainwater. Even this will be restored, i would assume that there will come a time that in some parts, rust will still build up faster than it should be.

1. Can I claim for a replacement unit? Bought December 2012 and less than 4K kms on the odometer.

2. If 1 is not possible, restoration will be the option. For those who have their units restored, what was the process on the insurance claim?

3. Aside from letting the car dry first, not starting or cranking, ECU check/removal, battery disconnect..what are the other things that i need to note?

Would really appreciate your input sirs..

Remove the ecu. Get rid of seawater by rinsing the vehicle with fresh water.

For sure the sea water will already dried up before being washed with fresh water..

good day! brand new advie namin, 2014 gls sport. tanong ko lang po kung saan nakalagay ung gps receiver, ano itsura? kasi na try ko na ininstall ung papago x8_c1 sa comport1, x8_c2 sa comport2, x8_c3 sa comport3. kahit sa isa dun gumagana un nga lang hindi ako makasagap ng gps connection, at nasa skyway ram to amorsolo ang location, pero dapat nasa fairview, qc.. naka 5 mins na ako kakahintay. sinundan ko ung kay eminem6480. ay eto po pala HU specs ko. avt-776m SALAMAT TSIKOTEERS!

Thank God at ok naman relatives amd my family is in Manila when it happened. Monty is also there and was ok..

nakumusta niyo na po ba insurance niyo? for sure sir madaming mag claim sa insurance ngayon sir. mabuti naman po sir ok isa niyong kotse, pero bakit di po nakaligtas advie like monty did?

Yes sir loy, advised already the insurance. Iniipon ko lang requirements para i-submit.

Nasa Leyte si Advie kasi doon sya naka-pirmis at si monty ang ginagamit sa Manila kaya si advie lang ang nadamay..

Hopefully total loss nga ang sabihin ng insurance..

Naextract ko na po yung file sa inav yung latest sa sd card di ko sinama yung updater,exe. kaso mukhang di siya ma read ng HU ko. anu po kaya ang prob. fresh pa po yung MS ko. sana matulungan nyo po ako. hindi pa rin gumagana yung navigation key/tab sa HU ko kahit my sd card. help please

Good and Bad..

I was able to get the "constructive total loss" amount of 700K for a 2012 Dec unit.

Bad thing is I was only break even with all the money spent, from DP and MA combined.

Still waiting for the cheque to be issued...tsk tsk...
