Will apreciate any reply on the matter. Thanks!
Di ko rin 'to naeexperience sa monty ko these past 10 months from the date of purchase. Better, have it checked on your casa. Good luck.

Since 2009 issue na yung moist sa headlamps. It is a normal phenomenon that should be gone overnight. Observe niyo muna kung tatagal. Sayang trip sa casa. Hehe.

Had my MS since April 25, 2011 and until now, I have not experienced that moist headlamp, fog lamp or tail lamp issue. And my MS is even parked outside the house, along the road in the subdivision, all night and even on some days.

Thank you guys for your responses. Just an update, here's what happened when I had it checked by my dealer.

My dealer told me right away that MMPC would replace the headlamps but with a warning that the same might happen again even with the new headlamps installed. (sort of telling me without saying it directly, "disregard nyo na lang, mauulit lang kapag pinalitan natin, sayang..." that is only my impression though.") Sabi ng SA ko, according daw sa MMPC, such occurrence is due to the climate we have in the Phils. (so they blame the weather in the Phils. for their quality issue.) In response, I told them that all owners and potential buyers of the MS should be informed about this. In my case, I was never told of this issue before I bought the unit. Moreover, I never experienced the same thing with my previous cars although they were of different brands specially while they were new.

Hence, sabi ko na lang if after replacing the headlamps, I would only expect the same problem to recur, then it is really futile to have them replaced. So it's ok with me not to replace them anymore. Instead, I asked them if indeed what they are telling me is true, I want MMPC to issue a public bulletin informing their customers about this quality issue on their headlamps and that it is due to the climate we have. Or, just a letter addressed to me personally, duly signed by MMPC na ganun nga ang mga headlamps ng Montero natin.

Sabi ko: "OK Good! Sige schedule mo na bukas install."

    Thank you guys!

But good job Mitsu for honoring the warranty claim expeditiously

    Re : Headlamp moisture

Nakalagay dun is may breather yung headlamps to release heat.

Same here.

    *babynos01,

I didn't know it's just normal as per our car manual. Alam ko kasi, pagnagkakamoist sa loob ng lens, madali magfade or discolor lamps ng sasakyan specially the front and rearlamps Be that as it may, one happy customer here. And I agree to most of you, good job to mmpc dahil they still honored the warranty. Wag lang mausog, sana lagi nga ganun.

Noticed the "moist" headlamp when I bought my unit, after a month or so nawala din, never noticed it again ;)

For me isolated instances lang nangyayari yung moist. And yes it is in the owners manual. Basta nawawala, that is what's important. Kung hindi, eh di warranty..

Headlamp moist? nagkakaron din yun unit ko nito most specially kapag gabi when driving malamig ang hangin(outside air temperature), lalo na ngayun tag ulan at after turning off the headlights. Dahil siguro sa effect ng init coming from your light and lamig. Eventually, nawawala din naman agad (around 5 to 10 mins).
