hi guys good day to all just got my glx friday morning, and just drive around in the city north reclamation and srp planning to go to moalboal for a long drive this sunday.
when i took the ride out the clutch is a little bit high so i came back and let the mechanics adjust a little. yes the drive is car like, the acceleration is good, i have notice that in second gear when i step on the accelarator theirs a little bit delay, is this what they say as turbo lag? , about the breakin my sa told me not to exceed 70kph for 1000kms and change oil syntethic. how much would tjis cost me? as ive heard the oil is expensive... thanks to all.

mga sir, sino po sa inyo nakapag palit ng side mirror cover na may signal light? im planning to buy kasi. but may nakapag sabi sa akin malaki daw yung gagawin to install it? how true po? any inputs will be appreciated. i thought kasi plug and play na.hehehehe. thanks po

Read your manual, you can drive up to 100-120 kph (135 kph for 3.2 engine) during running-in period, they don't refer to it as break-in anymore. Change to synthetic at 10T km.

bout the breaking in of your strada sir, it's still advisable to go 100-120kph as long you maintain the rpm to 2000-3000rpm...

hmm... i see one Strada GLS here in baguio with this kind of canopy (na hindi ko mahabol to join TSCP)... matanong ko siya on how did he purchase this kind of canopy kaya... hmmm... i pressume wala ito sa carryboy 'no? hehehe...

congrats sir and i hope to see your ride in the city. i suggest changing to synthetic when it reaches 5K km.

Question lang mga gurus, Standard accessories ba sa strada ang air filter for the aircon? I saw this part (aircon filter for L200) kasi sa citimotors parts.
Not sure if this is standard accessory or an option.

costed me roughly around 5,800php for first PMS with 1200kms already. your choice of oil depends on you actually. synthetics costs more and there have been issues with the turboxp as far as ive heard. but hey i used that during my first PMS ok nama.

The proper break-in for your truck is very critical especially at its first 1,000kms because it can dictate on how it will perform during its lifetime...

So tungkol po dun sa advice ng SA nyo, I would have to DISAGREE with it...kasi kung sasanayin nyo po siya sa ganun takbo before the 1k mark most probably medyo magiging malata sya through its lifespan....So ang Ok talaga na break in before you reach 1k kms is you need to press hard on the pedal biritin mo sya palagi...for example takbo ka ng 160KPH and then after running at that speed lets say for about 5min...just let the engine break do the stopping, don't use the break...do this at varying speeds 120, 130, 140 and so on until your 1k PMS...wag mo muna isipin yung Fuel consumption...Doing this kind of break in will make the performance of your truck topnotch through its life span but just be sure to always follow the Scheduled PMS...

and only do this kapag maluwang ang roads hehe....
