hello good day guys, next year im planning to get a mitsubishi strada. But im confused weither to get a 3.0 toyota hilux or the 2.5 lter 4x4 or the 3.2 4x4 strada both manual. With regards to the strada what is the difference between the two i mean in terms in power and fuel consumption..is there really a big difference in power between a 2.5 and 3.2 liter engine? Is the turbo on these two engines VGT na?Im 6 foot, is the room in the cabin resonable? I know malayo pa ang balak ko bumili baka late next year but i want too be sure in what i choose.

Sir, mine is 3.2L manual. During our recently concluded Ilocos-Pagudpud fun run, my average fuel consumption was 11.05km/L (1,565km on 141.7 liters of Shell VPower diesel). The drive included long stretches of highways w/ frequent revs up to 3k-3.5k while overtaking long vehicles and several slow vehicles, an offroad trip to La Paz sand dunes, long stopovers w/ engine in idle and aircon on, 120kph along SCTEX, fully loaded cargo, several kms of traffic jam due to SM Rosales... Not bad at all...

Sir boz your right thats not bad for a 3.2 ltr diesel. Anybody have any info about the fuel consumption of the 2.5 ltr varient? To those who have driven both 3.2 ltr and 2.5 ltr varient is there a big difference in power?is the 3.2 ltr and 2.5 ltr varient timing belt driven or timing gear?

    hello sir satoru!

regarding dun sa accesories, for the shiftknob I think pasok yung ralliart na polyurethane sa kambyo ng strada and the stainless one din I think.....

for the pedals...well, generic naman yung pedals na ralliart for manual tranny...so I think kasya parin....

    Hope it helps sir...

Welcome to Tsikot! and I hope you will be able to join us sa strada club once you get your unit...

BTW sir...remind ko lang po na bawal ang SMS typing dito sa tsikot...

    congratulations in choosing the strada.

just keep it below 100kph and accelerate and brake smoothly. Enjoy the ride.

Don't keep it in one speed for a long time, learn the powerband and best FC in shifting.
