Mine is 2010 model walang pang ginalaw sa aircon and until now malamig pa rin....

need some background on aux fan sa strada. marami na ako nabasa na pag nag lagay ng fan lalamig ang aircon ng ride natin. my question is, yung cooler po ba na tinututukan ng aux fan is yun din po ba ang cooler ng freon from the compressor going to the evaporator? gusto ko rin mgpa install nang aux fan but i want to know what is/are the purpose and use of this mods. thanks.

I plan to do this also, install a condenser aux fan. Malamig naman ung aircon, ang problem lang ay hindi sha consistent. Iba shempre ang lamig pag unaandar at naka stop. Mejo okay na kung 5.5k ung oem monty aux fan, direct bolt on naman yun, pero mas okay kung meron pang mas mura na pwedeng ikabit.

Thanks guys sa mga input re- aircon, inspite the age of my strada hindi pa rin patatalo sa Trailblazer, still mighty, in fact my wife loves more to drive the strada than the Trailblazer, take care of your strada & she will look after you in time of needs like an obedient dog.

Usually wala namang masyado issue sa casa when buying, the concern is during PMS. Pede ka naman lumipat ng casa sa PMS mo.. Pede kahit di sa casa kung san mo binili.
Though there are also some that needs to be avoided. Based on my experience, avoid Paco and based on reading avoid Manila Bay.
Try do more readings. Also, you can surely get a better deal if you loan thru bank than direct to casa.

may mga problema minsan kung bibili ka sa sales na kausap, dami ko nakausap na ahente minsan iniisip lang nila kikitain nila hehe puro reservation etc ang maririnig, kelan mag dadown pero di tinatanong ano gusto ng client ehehe.

ako sa kalookan bumili medyo may ahente na narefer sa akin ok naman, inantay pa ako hangang 7pm makita ko lang yung unit

yung sa valle verde dati nagpapaantay ako ng 5:30 ang sagot sa akin uwian na daw nila.

after a week nag fofollow up kelan daw ako mag down, nag sabi ako kumuha na ako sa kalookan, tapos panay follow up sya di ko na pinansin hehehe

Tama yung mga sinasabi dito. Ibang usapan yung sales at after-sales service. Sa Citimotors makati ako kumuha ok dun pero di ako dun nagpa-PMS kasi pangit reviews. I can give you the contact number of my agent ok siya kausap.

I brought my 4yr old strada sa car aircon specialist, the reason kaya pala hindi lumalamig pag mainit ang sikat ng araw is due to leak sa cooling coil, same time kasama na ang linis sa other ancillary parts(evaporator, condenser, etc) they found out na wala palang micro filter ang aircon system ko, Guys i-check ninyo kong mayroon micro filter ang aircon ninyo, if none better palagyan ninyo it will help in maintenance.

Do you really need a vehicle right now? Antayin niyo na lang yung new model ng strada. 2014 daw eh. Nakakalungkot naman pag bumili kayo tapos after a year old model na. Hehe.

Wala nga filter, binilhan ko torque ac filter yung akin after 4 yrs. hehe.

We owned a Toyota hilux and following defects I found on my truck "in my case":

1. Original shocks leak easily
2. Magnetic clutch on aircon gets easily damaged (replaced twice in a span of 8 years)

bought my strada (2.5 glx m/t) last sept 2010 with already 70,000 kms mileage.

here are my observations
1. minimal squeaking sounds sa shocks when passing bumpy road.
2. wheel alighment issues
3. foul smell from the aircon during the first 2-3 months. pag bagong start.

I see. I also read an article in top gear by botchi santos. Squeaking sounds from the suspension seems to be common and he had the joints greased up from time to time.

the wheel alignment issue was hereditary from the 2nd generation mitsubishi L200. I still use my 1996 L200 at 350,000km as my daily drive and yun nga, Madali din mawala sa alignment.

Naayos mo rin ang foul smell? At least the clutch on the aircon of my almost 2 decades L200 never broke down. Thats why I was disappointed in Denso aircon in my hilux.

sa aircon ayos na no more foul smell. during first 3 months ko lang na-experience...same thing with other montero sport owners. wait for the all new strada next year.

Mine is always sa recirculating mode, inspite of these, still accumulation of dirt is there, maybe sa In & out ng mga footwears from the driver & passengers.

I wanted to share that i just had my Strada GLX MT on May 2nd and so far i am a very happy camper

the first thing i changed is the horn but also looking at installing a sof lid bed cover, carryboy quoted me at 14k and it seems quite expensive to me for a soft lid. currently i am still canvassing i also saw a discussion about bed covers.

if you can recommend a shop that has reasonable price, that is much appreciated

softlid din ang cover ko, from carryboy. so far satisfied naman ako. 13.5K ang binigay nilang price, pag humingi ka ng discount at cash yun na ata price nila ewan ko kung may ibababa pa...baka di ako marunong tumawad hehehe

heavy rains ok naman yung cover nya, wag lang yung pag matagal naka park tapos maulan yun medyo nag pepentarate yung tubig, pero very minimal lang.

downside lang talaga is yung security dahil pwedeng butasin ng magnanakaw if not parked in a safe place. pwede nga din buksan na lang ang tailgate hehehe pero so far so good wala pa akong experience na may nag attempt mag bukas.

for me reasonable na price nya, kasi if compared sa mga hard cover mas mahal talaga.
