Any Feedback on the night vision of your rear cam? thanks

Although I haven't tested it at night, I tried it in a dark section of a car park. The ASX's reverse lights provide enough light to clearly see with the camera. Without the reverse lights, the image is very dark.

It's not the traditional IR-emitter based night-vision but it works.

thanks! have you rectified the issue on the cam trigger yet? as far as i understand from your posts,it has nothing to do with the camera right? can you please provide the name of the seller at ali?would probably acquire one from the same.

Haven't fixed the HU trigger for the camera. I don't have the wiring diagram nor time to visit the casa (yet). For the meantime, I am just manually switching the HU to display the camera view when I want/need it.

Had it installed at SUN-X. P400 for labor.

But I still have an issue with the rear camera trigger, it doesn't. Putting the shifter in to "R" supposed to trigger the HU to display the camera feed but it doesn't. I have tried the HU's config without success.

Currently I have to manually select camera view if I am to use the rear view camera. I plan to drop by Mitsubishi if I can't find a solution.

Anyone with a wiring diagram for our stock head units? I need to find that "reverse-gear" trigger wire to properly activate the camera mode.

I have no problems with the reverse gear trigger. After I had my cam installed in our local dealer, I automatically have a video feed of the rear whenever I put the shift knob on reverse (even when the HU is actually turned off). I don't know how the installer did it.

Nag-order na rin ako ng Mud guard at LED Door Sills sa Ali Express para isasabay ko na sa pag-install ng Reverse Cam. Kaya lang noong 17th ko lang na-recieved ang Tracking Number... pero hanggang ngayon wala pa.

* Aeye... tol sa iyo after mong ma-recieved yung Tracking Number mga ilang days pa bago dumating yung item mo?

I think it was maximum of around 2 days after I get a tracking number. I had a couple of items shipped using UPS express and DHL. No problems what so ever.

*all: Visibility on streets with lamp posts are excellent. I have no problems seeing the rear at night. I don't have sample pics though.

I misunderstood the post. With Pioneer it's the violet/white lead.

ASX aftermarket accessories is very limited in our local market. And the stuff I want is not available too... like the trunk/cargo area deck/cover.

Aeye, hindi 'to related sa camera pero tanong lang kita dahil taga cebu ka, mas malapit sa leyte. Anong magandang HID lamps para sa ASX GLS? Di kasi maliwanag yung halogen lamp kahit super light tint lang nilagay ko. At anong tindahan sa cebu na magandang bilhan na hindi naman ganun kamahal pero ok yung quality? Baka meron kang address at tel. #. thanks..

Sagot dyan, wag ka na mag-tint sa windshield. Kung maglagay ka ng super bright na headlights, mabubulag mo lang yung driver ng kotse sa harapan mo.

*gh, low headlamp lng ang papalitan ko at hindi super bright. Kahit 3x brighter lang ok na. Yung tint kasi impt sa akin specially long travel during may day-offs. Baka may ma recommend ka? Tnx

Congratulations bro cowboyx....wala naman discolored display sa unit ko bro..maybe dalhin mo nalang sa casa yung HU mo...im sure papalitan nila unit mo if defective display mo..

*pilotnord: bro suggest ko, ang ipa HID mo is yung fog light mo para di makasilaw sa kasalubong mo since location nung fog lights is lower..tama si GH, medyo nakakasilaw yung aftermarket na HID especially hindi projector type yung headlights ..

Report any problems with your HU. I've had problems with the volume adjustment before and they replaced the HU immediately without thorough checks.

Sometimes fog lamps will glare more than the low beam. For example, Civic FD. Seriously, the fog lamps glares like sh#t kapag naka-HID.

Since projector type yung low beam ng ASX, yun ang pinaka advisable na i-convert sa HID.

My local dealer here in Cebu have a number of accessories for order basis (Down payment required). Such items (already installed on my ASX) are Front Corner Extension, Front Chrome undercover and Rear Garnish. Pictures are available on previous pages. Nwy, try to contact other dealers within your region, they could have some arrangements like that.

Go with HID on fog lamps. Try to contact CFG, Roadstar or Autolab here in Cebu. Contact numbers are found online. Google is your friend.
