Dati headlight fuse daw, ngayon, yun parin daw as per my SA. I still cant accept that a headlight fuse or any fuse at all can put me in a dangerous predicament..what if sa liblib na lugar eto topakin..pano kung sa probinsiya, alangan naman ipa tow ko ng pagkalayolayo..until now pag naiisip ko naasar ako..

FUSE? WTF!!!..maybe I should get a 2nd opinion from another casa..thats a good idea..

Btw sir with a bayaw na may grandis...ano na ginawa sa grandis niya?

Normally, causes of a fuse getting busted is due to line faults such as High Ampere, Loose connections and most of all a short or a grounded circuit. Sir Oliver, Have you upgraded your headlight? Sorry as im not too familiar with a new in-board computer systems of a new car, how it thoroughly monitors and controls the entire car, but it I guess (if its true as mentioned by the casa technician) your system is too sensitive disallowing engine start-ups during faults such as this. Anyway, the casa technician should have monitored the line ampere readings during frequent testings (frequent on and off of your headlight - LO and HI beams) of your headlights. This might enable him to verify if the electrical load triggers a high ampere which might result a busted fuse. Again, if that is the case, simply replacing the fuse with a higher ampere rating might put your system to a bigger problem. Before doing this, he must consider the wire ampacity or should I say wire capacity, if it can hold the higher ampere that will be introduced.

had the same problem with my car yesterday. til now ayaw pa rin umistart. it's a 09 lancer. ano po diagnosis sa inyo ng casa? i still havent made up my mind kung ipapasok ko pa sa casa yun kotse o papagawa na lang sa isang mechanic near my place

just to update you guys. had a mechanic service my car yesterday. when he saw it, he asked kung ilang days ng nakaslant yun parking ko and i said it has been 5 days kasi usually nagmomotor lang ako papasok. alam na kagad nya ang problema. hindi pala umaabot yun gasolina dahil nastuck on the back side. he just poured in about 3 liters of fuel then nagstart na. ganon lang pala kasimple. hehe. lesson learned. just want to share this so that if anyone will have similar experience in the future e hindi magpanic.

Thanks for sharing that info. Anyway, its also good to know that your car has that safety feature. It will definitely prevent air to be sucked by the engine, which of course is harmful.

Hmm hindi kaya ganyan din sa akin, ayaw lang sabihin ng SA para kunwari may ginawa sila..Kaso it was parked in a flat surface for 1 day lang..anyway..I dunno man..

Anyway, this is a lancer thread and I know everyone here loves their car..I don't intend to destroy the lancer's rep here, I'm just sharing my experiences being, I think i have the oldest lancer here in these thread na active pa. And maybe baka inayos na rin ng mitsu yung issues ng model namin. Mag 5 years na next month yng unit ko at more or less 45k mileage.

Btw the only part I replaced in this car is the rims everything is in stock form. And yung rims pa oem GTA so basically stock talaga.

^ Update kita pag nakausap ko yung bayaw ko. Ganon din reaksyon ko nun nung nalaman ko fuse lang pala sira ng Grandis nya. Btw, yung grandis nya yung 3rd gen/Chariot, converted LHD.Although I'll make a wild guess. Fuse ng fuel pump yung sira.

Stock is 24 and 17. Nagpalit ako Bosch banana type kaso hindi same size, 22 and 18. Bigay lang kasi sakin kaya kakahiya naman d gamitin hehe

Cge subukan ko muna bro kung ano exact na sukat ang kaya para cover halos lahat, may naiiwan kc na part sa gitna ilalim yung stock e, hehe...

btw, madali lang ba magpalit to banana type? thanks.

Mga Bossing, Need help. Ano un type ng oil for EX 1.6? Kami lang kasi mag 10k PMS. Ano ba marerecommend nyo na brand ng oil? Fully, Semi or ordinary oil ng mitsubishi. Sa caravan lang kasi ako nag pa PMS before and hindi naman nila naspecify kung anong oil type na ginamit nila sa service book. TIA

Just got my Lancer GLX M/T last week had custom CS no Euro Plate for it knowing the plate number will take too long to arrive.

Mga boss tulong lng po. We are planning to buy GLX 1.6 m/t. Gusto ko na talaga ang lancer kaso may bad feedbacks daw ang wife ko from her co-workers na may problem sa aircorn. Tumawag din ako sa pinsan ko na naka Lancer na medyo mahina daw aircon pero ok na daw pag nasa 4 na.

Hingi lng ako inputs sa inyo kung meron din kayo experience sa aircon problem. If ever wala naman go na talaga ako sa Lancer. Hindi na ako makatulog. Hehe. First Car kasi namen ng wife ko. Thanks in advance.

Problem na mahina a/c? Hmm... Not sure for the rear passengers pero for the front, ok lang naman. Sakin kasi sagad muna thermostat sa umpisa tapos kung malamig na, binababa ko na to 3/4.
