if yung bumper sa likod yung may chrome pa and square yung foglights, mga 1998-2003 siguro yan.
pero kung plastic na and bilog foglights, tulad ng local unit, 2003-up na yan.
pero i doubt kung plastic na yan, kasi most units na galing sa port irene, may chrome pa na bumper yung likod and square yung foglights.

    im assuming diesel po ito?
kasi if gas ito, mas ok pa bumili ng local unit na gas. gas units can go as low as 750t-800t(for imported units).

if meron sunroof ito, make sure na open and close mo mga 3times. not necessarily sunod sunod. kung sira yan, ma stuck yun.

i know medyo weird yung mga pag check sa unit, pero remember, you are the buyer here.

once magpirmahan kayo ng deed of sale, and may makita ka problem sa unit, wala na balikan yun. kahit na wala ka pa 50meters from point of sale mo.

    goodluck sir sa purchase.
    pictures pictures.

usually 5-7t ako change oil and filters. (oil, fuel, air)
just using top1 synthetic. pero might try yung motul na pang crdi. just waiting for feedback dun sa isang kilala ko na gumamit na, medyo pricey, pero kung gaganda naman performance, ok na din.
btw have the tranny filter checked na din pala kung kelangan na paltan.

what do you mean ok bumili ng ganun sir?
    yung unit from port irene?
personally, im good with buying units from port irene. as long as maayos naman convert ng unit and malinis pa naman mechanically and aesthetically, i dont see anything wrong with it.
yun nga lang, talagang extra care dapat sa pag maintain, kasi di nga bnew.
ang thinking ko lang naman kasi lagi dyan, even if bnew ang unit, tapos poorly maintained, masisira din agad.

btw ano pala color nakuha ninyo?

Yes sir. Mitsu dealers/casa like diamond and union motors service gray units. This is also the thing i was concerned about before i bought a gray unit.

    Mga boss,
I am also interested in getting a Pajero gen 3. Imjust curious, why would you choose a gen3 pajero over a montero sport bnew? What are the deciding factors you considered, i mean gen 3 is like 6 yrs ako compared to a bnew montero sport which has almost the same price?

    I appreciate any feedback, comments.

The Pajero has all wheel independent suspension which means more car like riding comfort.
It has a lot of safety features not present on the Montero. It's roomier too.

    hehehe.
    try ko sagutin sir Lhestah.
    same dilemma ako before.

naghahanap ng pamalit sa frontier ko dati.
choices are pre-owned gen 3, pre-owned prado lc120, pre-owned patrol gu, bnew montero sport(lalabas pa lang), bnew fortuner.

for me mas timeless siguro ang pajero over montero sport (point of view ko lang ito ha. wag ma ooffend ang mga montero sport owners). pajero was the epitome of mitsubishi suv when it first landed here sa pinas. always wanted one. di pa lang talaga tama yung panahon nuon.

sa tingin ko medyo magkaiba ng classification ng montero sport and pajero. parang fortuner and prado lc120 yan. even if 6years old na yung pajero, imagine, same price lang siya ng bnew na montero sport. i guess that says a lot na. pero at the end of the day, yung choice and preference pa din ng bibili at ng gagamit ang masusunod.

goodluck on your hunt sa new ride sir.
    sorry haba ng comment ko.
    hehehe.

    may review ang 2010 pajero,

    http://www.autoindustriya.com/car-re...s-32-di-d.html

The new Mitsubishi Pajero carries three generations of history from its first release in 1982. Carrying features unique to Japanese four-wheel-drive vehicles at the time such as the turbo-diesel engine, the original Pajero broke into the motorsport arena only a year after its release. By 1985 it earned its first successful Dakar Rally stint, after which there was no stopping it from a 7-year win streak from 2001-2007, totaling 12 victorious campaigns.

The fourth generation Pajero was first introduced in 2006 at the Paris Motor Show, displaying a modified exterior design. More chiseled lines and polished curves gave the new Pajero an authoritative, military officer-posture that commanded not just respect but aesthetic appreciation.

The same 3.2-liter diesel 4M41 engine from the third generation model can be found under the hood. And why not? It's an able engine that churns out 165-horsepower and 374 Newton-Meters of torque mated to an evenly geared 5-speed INVECS II automatic transmission. Its Sportronic Mode is based off Porsche's Tiptronic technology.

Acceleration is smooth with a superb pull while gears shift easily. The average fuel consumption at mixed driving conditions in the city is 7.8km per liter (based on vehicle fuel meter). Engine sound is well dampened considering the diesel engine.

The two-tonne SUV has a solid brake performance with a pedal that gives just the right amount of feel. The Super Select 4WD II system allows the driver to shift from 2-wheel to 4-wheel drive modes on the fly.

For fully charged drives, the double wishbone front suspension setup and multi-link rears strike a good balance of comfort and firm handling, the steering feel being slight understeer to neutral. Body roll on hard cornering is subtle.

The elegant, ergonomically designed interior makes this machine all the more fine. The black and beige two-tone color scheme looks tasteful with the wood trims and aluminum accents. This stylish finishing gives the impression that Pajero's duties have been reassigned to more civilized activities as opposed to its off-road inclined predecessors.

Legroom is spacious with ample seating capacity for a family of seven (or eight skinny people). The climate control system is automatic and easy to operate, providing adequate cooling for Manila's hot weather.

Extra features make this macho vehicle sweet, such as heated seats and 12-speaker Rockford 6 CD audio system with RCA jack AUX input and USB port with iPod connectivity. For a factory installed audio system, audio quality is good; the subwoofer adds a kick of deep bass. Retractable side mirrors can be activated from the alarm remote when the lock button is pressed three times.

While the new Pajero sounds modern and well equipped so far, I found it inconvenient that there are no auto-up and down switches aside from the driver-side power window. It is also missing speed sensing doorlocks, memory for driving lamp and foglamp switch, as well as the hill-start and hill-descent assist system.

The Pajero stepped into the limelight once again when Executive Order 877-A took effect - a policy lowering the tariff rates on imported vehicles from Japan with 3000cc and above displacement. The lowered price puts this vehicle - tagged at Php2.75 million - at a strategic position between pick-up-based SUVs and more expensive, premium models.

Despite the minor shortcomings, the Pajero is a fine buy for a muscular vehicle with an impressive lineage below P3 million. The powerful performance, comfortable ride and plentiful seating/loading capacity makes it a practical choice for every man who appreciates style, supremacy and a little adventure on the weekends.

    Sir boybi and Jappy,

Thank you for the feed back and detailed experience you had. This surely will help me decide, not in a hurry though. I have 2 civics now (EK and FD) but since family man na, I/we need a much bigger vehicle. I am choosing between a bnew MS vs gen 3 pajero, almost the same price. Having been using gas feed cars my entire life I am curious how noisy these diesel fed SUV's (gen 3 pajero vs a Montero sport). I mean atleast I wanted to appreciate good quality sound system without that irritating diesel engine noise from the engine bay, any feedback on this? Sorry if I am too "maselan" on this part as these vehicles doesnt come cheap

Lastly, can I join one of your EB's even if i dont have the Pajero yet? I wanted to be more familiar on the vehicle first and seeing your excellent condition Pajero will help me a lot.
    More power to you guys!

Engine noise will surely be noticeable comparing to gas fed cars. But I don't think it would affect the sound quality of your sound system.

    We haven't had EBs yet.
