we are not slave to time and we don't measure our work with the amount of money we are being paid for..we simply do our best.

I'm proud to be a Filipino simply because in other country's they know who won the election 2hrs after while here in our country We know who will win before the election.

Seriously I'm proud because in spite of all the hardship We are all still alive in kicking and smiling. Proud PINOY!

Filipinos are jolly, generally happy and hospitable (sometimes overly hospitable). Filipinos are very resillient and are over achievers in other countries.

    Pinoys dont take anything seriously.

We can laugh or sing our way out of anything.

That's why we dont have a high suicide rate... even if we dont have any money..

Madami nga lang my hypertension hehe

People from rich countries should learn a thing or 2 from us.

My uncle designed the lunar buggy the americans brought to the moon. I designed a muffler for RC boats now being sold by Mike Tyson (not the boxer) they call "cheater muffler" the americans love so much but I never got a cent or freebies for the design. It was acknowledged by mike and posted at jim's rc boat dock that it was a guy from the Philippines that gave him the design.

im proud to be a pinoy, because....uhmm.....well.....because, we eat 3times minimum a day no matter what. hehehehe

seriously. ibang klase ang pinoy. we are too laid back. easy going people.

incase of problems. laging "bahala na" or some others we say like "kaya yan pare"

or "pag naka pasok na ang ulo, kasya lahat yan" this is referring to cars ofcourse hehehe

everything is ok as long as we can eat everyday.

I'm glad you are proud to be a Filipino.Mabuhay!

OT:But sad to say there are Filipinos abroad who sticks their butts to the whites or colored people as if by doing so will make any difference.Just remember, wherever you go, you will always be a Filipino.

[QUOTE=Radical: Filipinos are very resillient and are over achievers in other countries.[/QUOTE]

I couldn't agree with you more. I was an OFW (accountant) for more
than 10 years in the Middle East and dito ko talaga nakita ang inate
    abilidad ng Pinoy.
Kasi iba-iba kaming lahi (British, Egyptian, Pakistani, Sri-Lankan,
Thai, Indian, etc.) sa office and I can tell you from first-hand
experience that kaming mga Filipinos dominated them all!
Yung mga British and Egyptian occupied managerial positions
pero sa Pinoy sila umaasa sa office work. Mga Indian magaling sa
English and maporma pero mostly tamad. Ayaw mag-overtime!
Mga Thai matalino sana and masipag (good in the technical stuff and
computers) kaya lang bobo sa English!
Mga Sri-Lankan and Pakitani forget it! Hindi pwede iwan sa
    trabaho kailangan pirmi kang nakaalalay!
Ang Pinoy minsan mo lang turuan sa trabaho after that pwede
mo nang iwan. Not only that ang average Pinoy worker is good
in spoken and written office communication.
Would you believe yung mga boss namin na British sa amin pa
    nagpapagawa ng mga inter-office memo!
Halos kami na ngang mga Pinoy ang nagpapatakbo ng office!
Thats why I'm proud to be Pinoy because I have seen and
experieced first-hand that they can compete and even excel when
    placed side-by-side with other nationalities.

It's my heritage. That's reason enough. For good, for bad, or for worse, I'll still hold my head up high. I certainly do put myself on an equal footing with everyone else.
