    Delicadeza is immaterial.

Wala talaga pakialam mom mo sa share ng dad mo sa kanyang inheritance or any gratuitous transfer from your lolo and lola kasi wala siyang share until your dad dies.

But the wife and children suffer.

My Mom used to joke to my Dad "mambabae ka pero wag mo aanakan" HAHAHA My Dad doesn't have time to make babae, sakin pa lang ubos na oras niya

Isn't it in Catholic schools, illegitimate children are not allowed to enrol. Marriage cert is a requirement.
believe me, the illegitimate children were not encouraged at all, into being born into such condition.
the parents "made a mistake". and our lawmakers have decided that the children should not be made to suffer for it.

screening rules on enrollment into Catholic schools have since been relaxed...
i have seen non-Christians and non-Catholics, schooling under Catholic schools...
i have seen single parents successfully enrolling their children-borne-out-of-wedlock, in Catholic schools.

What I'm trying to say lang e may delicadeza parents ko. Marami asawa dyan, lakas mang himasok pag dating sa pera.

I am just wondering how come when we sold a property in 2011, the title was under the name of my Mom and her sisters, the husbands still had to sign when we sold the property. It was transferred in the 70s pa lang ata.

    ownership laws evolve, po.
depending on the year, when a property is inherited, ownership is either solely to the heir, or to both heir and spouse.
"i think the lawyers made this law up, to be sure that they are needed".
    heh heh heh.

hahaha! My Lolo told me he and his siblings spoke in English around their parents. Since the first language of my great grandparents was Spanish, it takes more effort for them to understand when they conversed in English :P I never heard my Lola speak in Spanish though.

This situation with my family only reinforced my belief that the family should approve of who you marry. They know who is best for you

I know. That's why I qualified it with gold digger.

Being a kabit is immoral but I know a kabit na I felt sorry for her because she really loved the guy. And she did not need his money.

may kabit din na uto-uto = nanay ko
pera nya (though puhunan came from my dad), napalaki at naka dagdag sa asset ng orig family. ngayon pati bahay namin sa bf na alangan pa makuha ng orig child (more on 1/2 bro in law ko na swapang). to think marami na properties nabenta sa province (na napakinabangan ng 1/2 bro inlaw ko), di naman kami humingi doon maski singko kasi alam namin na di sa amin. nanay ko nung catholic pa, di nakakapag communion.

btt: ano laban ng illegitimate kids, dun sa mga pinagbebenta na property at gusto pa kunin ng 1/2 bro in law (pwede involved din 1/2 sister ko) yun bahay na pinundar ng nanay ko. haka haka at the moment pero, bigla nag reach out 2 years ago, 3 years after namatay dad ko. and paubos na farmland and other properties (other lots and assets)? wala kasi alam na busines or trabaho (according to dad's friend), puro benta property lang

while my classmate did have a basque-esque name, morphology was definitely "indio".

It happens. That's why the choice of spouse is crucial in so many ways

I have a cousin who was mistaken as the driver of another cousin
