true aside sa farm, at ano ano pang investments, dapat ang pension mo every month is more than $1000 or 55,000 a month para pa relax relax na lang.

When time is right, pwede ka na umuwi to run your biz.

yeap tama, for me dyan ka muna wait for a few more years, siguro around 2010 or so... at least makikita natin saan talaga papunta ang pinas. as of now masyadong unstable baka magsisi ka lang...

When you said a couple of Ms is that in Peso or dollars?

I agree with most of the peeps here... you can visit the Philippines for a month or two, visit your relatives then go back to the States for work, my brother does that. Visit different tourist destinations in the Phils like Bohol, Cebu, Palawan, Boracay, Tubbataha, etc.

you're still young. you still have a lot of time para mag-ipon. Stay there muna.

Farming is good. may it be poultry/fishery/piggery. I've seen a lot of balikbayans venturing in that kind of business. Good Luck!

    "There's no place like home"
Masarap talaga sa atin. Pero let's be wise, and the best is mag-ipon muna bago umuwi.
And think of a business or even start a business (if possible) while you are working abroad.

Planning also to settle back to Phils soon.

My guess is that it would be a 2 year ROI. So, in those two years, kailangan pensyonado...hehee.

Although $2,500 'daw' and magiging monthly pension nya.

imho try to find some other work there muna; kaya nga nag Iraq si Tarongoy di ba? B) pero kung gusto mo mag business, have enough M's, and willing to take the risk, then i'd have to say, very cautiously, ok lang!

Is it worthwhile bumalik sa Pinas?
