pero nakakatakot naman... halimbawa si Jose Pidal 60m deposit sa isang bangko biglang mabankrupt...so 100k or so lang makukuha sa pdic?
250k, actually. nothing's stopping you from chopping up that 60m into 200k chunks and having lots of accounts...hassle lang nga kung iaupdate

offshore banking is the way to go kung marami kang pera....you can even buy bonds and other securities using that offshore bank na pinaglaanan mo ng pera....or you can put your money to a big lending investors....that way kumikita pa rin yung pera mo...yun nga lang there is also a chance na malugi ka ng konti, depende kung saan mo invest yung pera mo....

If I have that big amount of money I will do invest it into those big investing firm....or buy bonds or stocks....let my money work for me and not the other way around....I am working for the money all of my life and if I have enough of it let it work for me.....hehehehe

then I can go with you guys in offroading, eb's and of course.....PESYALLLL!!!! harharahrahrahrahrar

    yeah tama kayo dyan ...

you coud diversify your investments para mas matibay; it just means invest ka sa iba't ibang bagay, i.e. not putting all your eggs in one basket.

you could save some in a bank account, t-bills, stocks, bonds, precious stones/metals, maybe even buy a house/condo by installment.

dunno kung me financial planners dito; pero ang alam ko e para sa mga super rich na yan. basta bigay mo pera sa kanya, sya bahala mg invest para yo(with your consent of course), tapos me percentage sya makukuha or something. pero ingat din, kahit anong profession meron talagang gago B)

i think this is why Big John Gokongwei hired Gabriel Singson(former BSP head) for -- syang bahala mg invest sa pera nya.

add ko rin pala: like what was mentioned above, meron mga so-called investment funds ang mga bangko ngayon(BPI for one). sort of like the same setup i mentioned above.

pero like i said, you need to be super rich to tap financial planners/ investment funds.

Is it worthwhile bumalik sa Pinas?
