Japan's high life expectancy i think has a lot to do with high standard of living

aside from healthy diet (fresh food, veggies, fish)

malinis sila... clean healthy habits

Japanese gov't investment in health education decades ago paid off

they created a health & hygiene-conscious culture

high suicide rate naman i think it's coz wala sila judeo-christian background na magpipigil sa kanila (that if you kill yourself you're going to hell)
