Why do doctors love to have their patients wait?

May himala, nauna kami sa Surgeon. We have a 9 am appointment and the secretary messaged me at 9:04 na the doctor arrived na. We were 15 mins away pa, so embarrassing. Although kami lang ang patient for that day kasi technically he has no clinic pag Monday.

i can not say for sure,
but the sour-geon probably had to come to the horsepital that day, for his in-patient rounds.
he just put you in as it was convenient enough, that's all.
he probably went on his rounds after your consult.

So it seems like ang mga surgeon wala talaga masyado consult kasi with Dr APS and Dr Cutie ganyan din, most of the time sila nauuna pa Although we know them naman at ka message personally, this surgeon, hindi naman "kakilala" but he was on time! Anyway, after our consult he left na rin.

"doc, hindi pa siya umu-uwi since kahapon..."

that's also my assumption, lucky for us na he saw us on a non clinic day kaya no other patients He had a lot of time for chika and left after we left so mukhang mag rounds nga.

many doctors i know, enjoy talking about the good old times.
it's a stress-reliever.

Super small world talaga. I saw my dentist of 20+ yrs after so many reschedules and he asked me what happened. I told him my Mom got hospitalized and he asked me who the Gastro was, so I said the name and he said na they are golf buddies and should have said his name and ask for discount. Sayang hahaha! And then my dentist showed me photos, sila mga golf buddies niya, and then he is friends din pala with the bypass doctor of my Dad in the 90s (Dr Jorge Garcia!)

My late grandfather also got really big PF discounts thanks to golf (he was a founding member on a couple of clubs).

Too bad none of us caught the bug.

'tis open secret,
many business deals, are made on the golf course. their word is good as binding, even as there is no written agreement.
also, many prospective business contacts are made in school, when everybody is still a student and a classmate.

i remember a fellow man-of-the-white-gown,
younger colleagues would fear his wrath.
kami naman, having trained with him, are all jolly good friends... the literal old boys' club.
yung isa, ka-edad nga namin, but frequently frictions with the guy. as it turns out, nasa abroad siya nung nandito si jolly goodfriend.
