If i were in his shoes (and with my wife), i'd probably have to bribe the wifey with something of equal significance (not necessarily value). Even if she allowed me to get it with nothing attached, i'd feel better if we both got something (there would always be this nagging feeling of guilt). :D

I thought you only bought the toy car B14 to teach a certain Ford Lynx RS a thing or two.

1 thing i cant understand is whats up with getting the approval of the wives, bakit? Im not married yet but i doubt if my wife can stop me from purchasing something. Di naman ako iiwan dahil bumili ako ng kotse para sa sarili, siguro kung para sa ibang babae.

Been browsing ft86 forums lately and looking into the member's journals and build thread.
That's all I can do for now.

WIfey saw what i'm browsing and told me "after naten magmortgage pwede ka na bumili nyan"

Now, I see a toy car in the horizon 3-4years from now.

i said the same thing before i got married, now every time i have to buy something expensive kelangan na ng approval ni misis.:bwahaha: sa wife ko kasi syempre sinisigurado lang niya na kaya talaga namin bumili ng mga mahal na bagay that's why i ask her permission first, pag kaya naman talaga di ko naman na siya kelangan pilitin. kaya ok lang sa akin pa alam sa kanya since out of respect na lang din.

meron mga nag bebenta ng 86/brz ng pa lugi and very fresh pa. yon yung mga bumili dahil lang sikat kasi, di tumitingin ng specs at kung ano kaya gawin ng kotse. kala nila sobra bilis ng 86/brz kaya pag bili nila disappointed sila di nila alam di naman ginawa yung 86/brz for it's power.:bwahaha:

6 years ago, nag-start naglabasan ang rc helicopter toy sa mga malls, but I didn't bought any of these from malls. I did research and I found-out meron na pala hobbyist ng mga RC Helicopter/Airplane sa Pinas, I mean hobby-grade RC helis/planes. I was hooked-up to this hobby for 3 years. Believe me magastos din ang ganitong hobby from radio, to the helicopter kit itself, upgrades, crash parts purchased, and so on. I stop when I see na lumalaki na needs ng family ko. I still have my RC helicopter with me and still having communications with flying-hobby from time to time. As we said, we didn't really gave-up our hobby, we just lie-low. For sure babalikan ko ito in near future, at nang magka kotse, naisama ang toy car sa hobby list ko in the future.

Experience they say, is the best teacher.

If you earn millions everyday, then I think your wife won't even notice the things you buy.

But, if you're just the average juan dela cruz ....... it will be another story.

But you dont need to get hitched, as you see my gf of 3 yrs. sinama ko last year sa autoline para sa mods ng walang kwenta kong XT and i spend close to 200k wala akong narinig na comment. And just the same sinama niya ko last april sa Hk, bumili siya ng balenciaga wala akong comment, di rin naman kasi nagtanong.

That's because separate pa finances nyo.

Drag racing dito at doon legal man or illegal.

I don't want to wait too long to buy one. I know I can afford it but being able to justify it is another matter . My wife wants everything put in real estate and travel. I don't mind the real estate but that's a different expense league altogether . Seems no toy car for me in the near future. Will propbably get another family car like the LC200 . I can't do drifts in that truck............

Right you are. I've noticed a few years back that I do have some extra moolah to play around with. Usually it goes to the kids gadgets or travelling with the whole family or the once in a while LV for the Mrs. (I got to keep her happy).

Then I stopped and though about what I have bought for myself. Nothing!!

So I plunged and bought a toy car for me to play with. Nothing ostentatious and no more than 100K, as I know I need to spend double that to make it running better.

    Here it was before:

I had it stripped to metal and made some body work and re-paint. Hopefully within 2 weeks, it would be out.
