these things are just tools... if you really are concerned about your security, you should check your habits and your routines first, then check on your personality if you really are prepared for an encounter.

If you dont intend to kill your attacker, dont provoke him/her to kill you.... get away from them immediately... run them over if you have to but never try to confront them unless you are cornered or prepared financially, emotionally and legally.....

If someone really wanted to hurt you, I suggest you get a gun and a permit to carry. Having threats mean that these are decided individuals that will try to harm you. No amount of pepper spray, martial arts, batons or baseball bats would discourage them from getting to you. But if you just plan to get these tools to be used as an advantage to confrontations for traffic altercations, i advice you to just not use it.... you might end up getting in jail or hospitalized....

best defense is to set aside your EGO, minor traffic altercation? just let it slip, drive away. huwag ng buksan pa ang window and makipagmurahan. it doesn't make you less of a man kung hinde mo papansinin.

I used to bring a gun with me, I already owned a gun when I was in college. dala ko everyday sa kotse pero napansin ko nagiging mayabang ako sa daanan, lumalakas ang loob ko parang invincible konting cut lang sa akin makikipagmurahan na ako etc.

nagamit ko lang ng one time natutok ko sa driver ng PUJ dahil nabangga niya ako at tumakbo siya hinabol ko and lowered my window then tinutok ko yun baril at sinnabi na itabi niya JEEP niya or babarilin ko siya. that's it after incident hinde na ako nagdala ng baril dahil I realized na what if naputok?

ngayon I only bring my piece kung alam kong gagabihin ako ng uwi or early morning na ako makakauwi. kung punta ng out of town, byahe ng province.

but sa problema ni TS, I don't think you need anything to protect you based lang doon sa na recieve mong text, tingin ko it's not really a serious threat, dahil if somebody will really harm you hinde na niya sasabihin gagawin na lang niya, eh na text ka pa so pwede ka pang maghanda for them.

may incident kase few years ago sa batangas exit sa slex. may parang nagkaputukan na mga police at carnappers, ayun, tinamaan yung revo na sinasakayan namen sa may rear side and andoon ako sa likod nakaupo together with my younger brother. buti walang tinamaan samen.

a good cheap 9mm is around 25-35k taurus brand and brand new, license not sure ngayon if same price parin pero i think it's around 4-7k, ptc 10k parin ata pero mas mahirap na kumuha compared before.
