Six years na and still going "strong"....
:hysterical:

April 30th, 2014 04:15 AM #3Dont buy Elba. Ours exploded! Yes. Exploded. It exploded while we were baking chicken. Good thing no one was hurt. As in shards of glass flew across our kitchen. I contacted Elba to ask what happened. I wanted a technician to see it so that we'd know why that happened (like if its a defective product..)and so that it wouln'td happen to anyone else. They sent a person to investigate. He went to our house but asked us to pay 500pesos for the service!!! In the end we paid 500pesos for nothing and they still have no true conclusion why that happened. The technician said we can have it fixed and they'll give a discount. I said I'd never use their product again. So dont buy it, for your safety.

May 3rd, 2014 12:10 AM #4What model of elba? The Italians never designed it to be rat proof. There are holes everywhere behind it, the smell of leftover food and the glass wool insulation is a haven for these rats. To counter the pests, I retrofitted a mesh wire and 20amps circuit breaker. Probably in your case, a short circuit caused by damaged insulation ignited some gas that builded up inside the range.. For safety reasons, I personally dont use gas ranges in the kitchen. Those elba cooktops and ranges remains as decoration and used only for special occasions, most of the time gas lines are disconnected..

+1 Elba here. Hehe

I bought our Lagermania about 5 yrs ago with full features or top of the line during those days. Mahirap pala pag ganun sobra sa feature ang gamit, meron added cost which turn out to be more expensive than actual unit.
