Noticed this too during this Holy Week break.

Ang daming naka-Fortuner/Montero sa mga resort na pinuntahan namin, but the people who own them are a mixed bag. May mga mukhang jologs and asal jeje. Yung mga dating maitim na matabang kalbo na nakashades na naka EK Civic, naka-SUV na ngayon.

Ngayon ko talaga naaappreciate na kahit hindi naman kami mayaman, ginapang talaga ng parents ko na makapagaral kami sa mga maayos na school.

Wala difference from before OFW money and now BPO. It's the advent of social media and siguro mas willing na gumastos mga generation now.

Sample din sa mga Chinese I know you know it. Generation now are more willing to spend for luxuries unlike sa parents nila.
