I really appreciate how he teaches me even non-work lessons like etiquette and he does it in a non-offensive manner eg he reminds me to stay in the right side of the escalator to give way to people that are passing through. He is also matiyaga explaining football to me. He is really the best boss in the entire galaxy

When I worked in spangdahlem, I had eight Germans working with me. Being in charge of them I sometimes have to yell at them except for one older gentleman. The first thing you hear from them is "I'm tired" even before start of shift instead of guten morgen. There's not too many of the type of your boss

In my limited experience,- it is more of a culture/territory thing.... For example in the West Coast,- they don't care. But in the East Coast (US), where I observe people being very abrasive,- they would shove you out of their way.... Everywhere I go, I would always position myself on the right though....

Again, based on my limited experience, the real and present danger of some German's "cunning cut" ...

Have you tried asking him out, casual lang kunyari. Minsan kasi dahil mas mataas position sayo, mas nag hold back.
