Laughing softly at the only dirty joke I know. I think I read it from someone else's copy of Jingle(?) magazine. Anyone remember those?
The joke was about a blind guy and his great sense of smell.![]()

*SIGH*
The wife is always trying to shield the kids from failure (to project a positive image). Me? I give them room to fail because how else are they going to learn responsibility and consequences? It's a mean world out there.

My empty grocery cart was taken away by someone who looks decent at the hypermart. It was not parked in the main aisle but rather in my checkout counter aisle. It is quite obvious that i will be using it but this moron just took it away.... if he steals a measly cart when the free ones are just fifteen strides away, then you cannot trust the coffers with this person... When the bagger and i looked at him, he looked back as if he has done nothing 'wrong'. Sad state we're in.

Maybe he thought it won't be used anymore since it was in the checkout isle already

I'm assuming you were going to put your paid groceries in it. Did you say something when he took the cart? If it was my cart, I would've yelled at him to bring it back because I'm not done with it yet. I learned long ago there are people, like the person you described, who don't think first before doing something. It's up to me to do the thinking for the both of us and react.
Bro., I did not notice when he took the cart as i was loading the items on the counter... The cart was beside the counter i was loading and an arm's reach from me, and he took it away. I did that because the last time i placed the cart in the main aisle in front of the counter, a middle aged lady grabbed it and i caught her. And so i told her that i was obviously using the cart with the groceries i bought. She took her hands off the cart and just left..
This thing on carts will be mainstream in a short while as Christmas shopping approaches....

I don't waste my time on rude people anymore. I feel sorry for them that they do not have manners.
Just this week, a guy blatantly cut in line in front of me in a tea place. What's worse is I was next in line and there is only one person behind me (my friend). He couldn't wait for 2 people to finish. He thought it was okay to cut in line since I gave the person on the counter a little space. Most pinoys walang concept ng personal space. I wanted to give him a piece of my mind but I figured it's not worth it. Parang bakla ugali.

Usually the person manning the counter reminds them about the line.
