    Well my personal rule is to add or accept only those who I've met in person and have had a significant interaction with. But that's just me.

    But what if, for example, the guy has similar rules? He might ask your common friends about you if he sees your friend request (I'm assuming you haven't been introduced ha)

    As to not letting her know...she'll find out. Promise. :/

    Why does people share creepy photos in facebook. Imagine if a person with a heart disease scrolls down his newsfeed and saw that out of nowhere

    yun na nga eh. the guy "might" ask the girl about me, if I added the guy (or sent a request). my friend even didn't introduced the guy to me and to some of our common friends.
