Am watching "Hasselholf vs the Berlin Wall" on NatGeo. i never realized that East Berliners were trying to escape as the wall was literally still being built. One group even drove a freakin train and broke through the wall just to escape

My main FB has the same 35 "friends" for the last several years, all of them family or relatives. I've been adding one or two every now and then as a nephew/niece got old enough to have a FB account of their own.

I also have a separate FB account for HS alumni. The vast majority of them are here in the US. I would guess they are like me who stayed in the PH just long enough to get an education and then came back here.

Edit:

There are some HS alumni I'm vaguely familiar with who wanted to be added to the friends list. But, if I never met them in real life, they stay in the pending list or I reject them outright.

All my FB contacts are people I met in the real world. No "strangers." I trust them enough to know they won't attempt to spam or do any malware stuff.

Why can't US announcers have the same passion as their Hispanic counterparts? Even the lowly, small, local, Hispanic amateur announcers had more passion for the game. It's even more impressive when it's live.
