But these are not normal times. We’re on strict 1 month home Q, so dealerships are closed. Cars are rarely used to accumulate the necessary mileage & unfair to count the 1 month on lockdown. I’m just curious what their play is. My pms due at the end of the month.

True....but there's that warranty issue scare trick they wave at you. Seems to work for most. Look how much people are willingly shelling out everytime they check cars in for PMS....Twice-quad DIY easily, depending on the badge? By the time warranty expires, ever wonder about the overspending on dealership PMS for a depreciating appliance?
My take? Should anything fail under the covered period, it's unlikely gonna be the motor anyway. Plus, currently don't have CVTs....no drivetrain paranoia & warranty fears.
DIY significantly saves. I'd even be more assured of the quality of care that way. A good insurance policy, however, I won't scrimp on. Accidents, they can happen....even to the best & most careful.[emoji120]

perhaps the lockdown would already have loosened up a bit, by that time.
if the warranty period is over, then there shouldn't be any problem.
if the car is in reasonably good condition, i do not think something significantly negative will occur to the car, if one over-stepped the pms schedule by a couple of months of lockdown condition.
just check that the car does not get its fluids "below the warning line".

I always worry about the CVT of my wife's 2013 Rogue. It was the last of the Japanese-built Rogues in the US and the last model year of its generation. I would think whatever kinks that generation had would have been ironed out by them. But, I still worry. I just hope the Rogue reaches 200k miles before I'll have to junk it.
I think there may have been one or two service bulletins which required the car to be brought in to a Nissan service center for repairs. The Nissan dealer did the required work at no cost to us even though it was a little behind on PMS. The wife has a habit of not telling me what the dash warning/reminder messages show.
Not worried at all doc. I was just curious since almost all sectors have made adjustments (credit cards, utilities....) so I would think they will follow suit. I think they should shelve the 6 month rule for now & just follow the mileage rule. Dealerships have more to loose by voiding the warranty.

i think one or two manufacturers have announced that they were adjusting their payment schedules.
but i do not remember any of them, publicly announcing that their pms / warranty schedules would be adjusted accordingly.
my wild guess and fervent wish is, "they will, but they will not publicly announce it".
And imagine, if dealers voided all warranties due to the lockdown, nganga sila.
