my internet doesn't go down for long periods.
more like, few minutes only.
and i also noticed, it sometimes slows down.
it is as if my internet provider wants me to upgrade to their more expensive and faster (daw) offering...

Mine went down twice because the fiber optic cable got severed by vermin. It happened during the lock down. First was 9 days, second was a day. The speed of your internet depends on the number of people using it at a given time. An area has a bandwidth which is divided among the users. That is why, when applying for an internet service, providers have to check if there is still a slot available in that bandwidth.

some time ago,
my internet would predictably slow down, at midnight or 1 am, onwards.
when i wake up at 7 or 8 am, ok na naman ulit.

How far are you from the wifi router? What does the wifi signal bar strength say? If its 2 bars or less dont even bother with Netflix or youtube...

Are there walls that separate you from the router (walls have a massive effect on range speed etc)

Are you in a different floor?

Are you using the very ineffective range extenders VS the new Mesh wifi?

How many users are latched to your router?

Is it a new high speed router with a fast multi core cpu that can handle many users at once? And with the latest beam shaping tech?

Are you on fiber or copper DSL?

Many factors here and we need to isolate before we can the blame on one or another item.

ay oo nga. their teeth don't stop growing that's why they feel compelled to gnaw on almost anything to keep their choppers in order.

so far, those critters haven't been sighted in our village yet although i won't be surprised if they make an appearance here someday. madami dami na din ako crows and herons nakikita lumilipad lipad sa amin these past few months.
