Several years ago, my friend and I finished our dinner. I inserted the key to open the door but it won't open. I asked my friend to do it and afterwards he said that probably it's broken.

Out of frustration, I slowly looked up then I realized that there is a roof rack installed on the hilander!

Then it occurred to me that the said hilander wasn't mine. My friend and I really had a good laugh that in fact, I couldn't drive because I couldn't stop laughing.

My wife always picks me up in a street, rarely in parking lot to save on the parking fee. Will usually just tell her I'm waiting at a front of a store so she can pick me up. There are couple of times in I'm about to grab the door handle of the car that stopped right in front of me when I realize it's not my wife. I just can't imagine what will happen if I try to open a vehicle or get on board on a strangers car. I might end up getting a mace spray in the face. Or a lady shooting "carnapper! Tulong!"

I was so surprised that I wasn't able to say anything as she hastily went out as she apologized.

I noticed that she has a long, beautiful hair.

After a while, my wife came in. I made sure it was her before "I do anything towards her".

Same thing happened to me at the parking, can't open the door to my Civic, then I noticed it was a City! Oh silly me.

then this monitor flashes the "deal", asking for several volunteers. several of us passengers saw it. we interested parties approached the lady, who explained that, in exchange for our seats, we would be going home in the next, later flight, and given free round-trip tickets and a free airport breakfast...
sabi ko kay anak, "ma-una ka nah. alam kong may hinahabol kang appointment sa maynila. kunin ko yung deal nila."
i arrived in manila several hours late, but one free round-trip ticket richer. the burger breakfast was also good.
ever since, i've been on the look-out for repeat lightning strikes.

Those offers are prevalent in the NW/Delta flights from Manila to SFO/LAX every start of the year....

We have a good number of engineers who availed of those freebies...
