Ako lang ba ang kumukuha ng kanin sa rice cooker ng ibabaw ang una? I scrape the top especially when it's still hot. Pag pailalim kasi kuha, pag lamig ng kanin titigas yung tira na mumo sa ilalim. Now kung buo ilalim at lumamig ang kanin buo mo makukuha yung crust at hindi mahirap hugasan.

Apparently may mga tao pala na galit sa mga ibabaw ang kuha ng kanin. Dahil sunog daw natitira sa huling kumain.

That's not an issue for us kasi the rice is transferred agad to a serving bowl pero yung few times naabutan ko bagong luto I only get a portion sa ibabaw but not scrape the top. Pero if I am not the first to get, I wouldn't also get pailalim, parang papantayin ko siya para level yung ibabaw

Rice cooker na nasusunog ang ilalim? You need to change your rice cooker or unplug it once it goes to "keep warm" state.

i think once the rice is cooked you have to air it out by mixing the whole bowl including the bottom so you wouldn't get the hard burnt rice at the bottom.

i remmeber there are people who like the burnt rice. tawag nila 'Tutong' its crispy daw.
