I will never forget about this colleague of mine that was driving a current gen civic during that time. We went for merienda and I'm not sure how it was brought up but he has an extremely small budget for food. His car needs a new battery na daw but he can't afford one. During that time a battery for a civic was definitely less than P5k. Maiintindihan ko pa walang pampagawa for an overhaul or a major repair that costs 5 digits, but P5k? Pumapasok siya sa office naka civic at naka neck tie pero wala siya P5k? I think yun ang case na masyado pinilit magka kotse siguro majority ng sweldo nasa monthly na.
