there are times when tow trucks are difficult to come by.

    once, i needed one,
and it came pronto. flat bed pah!

    another time naman,

If I should come skiing with my Mom's friends. They are inviting me kasi e wala naman ako outfit. I don't wanna buy just for that, and besides I don't know how to ski hahaha. Snow mobile sounds fun though

Definitely go with them. Pwede ka mag rent ng outfit. I-google mo na lang they'll Send it kung saan resort ka pupunta.

    go!
    even if only to watch.
    but that wouldn't be fun...

in the place where i studied,
the used clothing store had a lot of pre-owned skis for sale.
i mentioned it to the locals in the hospital,
"yes, we regularly have them brought over for fixin' (the people, not the skis) during winter.
    heh heh.

Yep. If i'm not mistaken chinese belief ata yan. Supposedly it's to scare bad spirits away para good fortune will be attracted or something like that.

digong outlawed nationwide public firecracker usage when he assumed office 5 years ago (may good points and bad points din). Kaya i was surprised na madami uli nag paputok this year now that he's going out w/o a bang. Open defiance i guess.

no matter what admin di talaga kaya pigilin ang paputok sa new year's eve celebration

embedded na yan sa psyche natin and many other cultures around the world
    check this out:

In Naples, Italy, the mayor cited COVID to announce a ban on fireworks for a second straight New Year’s Eve. This was the response from citizens.

it's strictly enforced in davao city to this day. understandably, davaoenos comply because it's easy to be made an example there - pwede kang damputin lang easily and there's a big possibility no one will see you alive again.

Not even the fanboy's hero, FEM Sr. and his Martial Law could stop people from lighting it up every NYE. Basically pinaubaya na lang Malacanang sa mga LGU's on how to go about with this. Yung ginagawa nating mga Pinoy tuwing NYE is what most Americans do during the 4th of July in terms of consumer fireworks.

the chinese believed in the practice of warding evil spirits using fireworks.
because naman, the fireworks would rid them of disease-carrying insects (mosquitoes!), resulting in a decrease in the populace's sickness statistics.

Actually the aftermath of the NYE firecracker/fireworks show is much tamer compared to let's say 30-40 years ago, wherein it was zero visibility all over tapos ang joke pa (although totoo) is maitim yung kulangot mo after yung mga putukan.

I also not anymore maselan sa kotse like nung early years. Ang tingin ko ngayon its a tool for transporting. Kahit lumimpak-limpak ako last year eh hindi ako bibili above 2million kotse unless 100kms per liter gas mileage. Ang focus ko magiipon ng lote.
