Request for FNA so you know if your existing insurance coverage/s is enough to protect you and/or loved ones. I bet most of us will be surprised that it is not.

it is seldom that insurance will make multi-millionaires of the heirs.
usually, the amount is to tide them over during the adjustment period.

Agree, thus it is prudent to do FNA with knowledgeable financial advisors especially if you are the bread winner or tagged as key person of an organization. Hunting for that knowledgeable agent or FA is another story. To speak with a licensed agent isn't a guarantee of his wide knowledge in the insurance domain as we all know, need you to do own verification as well dun sa mga pinagsasabi nya sayo, hehehe.

ask me the ten signs and symptoms of SLE, or ten differential diagnosis for acute appendicitis, and i'll happily oblige... without codigo!
ask me about "financial advising", and i'll say, "time deposit na lang".
    heh heh.

Do we share the same notion that here in Philippines we look down on FA's? we only know them selling insurance but little do we know that they have a course or should attend schooling to become a certified FA.

Possibly due to budget constraints, only their sales leaders and/or trainers are allowed to attend and secure the certification, then icascade na lang pababa..or possibly wala din talaga. Life insurance policy is complicated in my opinion, andameng terms stated in the contract that are hard to understand that may affect your choices during point of sale and amendments to initiate after a sale has been made depending on the circumstances of the policyowner.

    no

most pinoys don't know much about mutual funds so insurance agents/financial advisors can sound impressive/knowledgeable when explaining equity fund, bond fund, risk tolerance, etc

usually sapat na ung knowledge nila for the products they're selling

pero beyond that, baka wala na alam

for me kasi misleading ung tawag sa kanila

kung "financial advisor" ka talaga you need to be familiar with the universe of investments

hindi lang limited sa equity fund, bond fund...

kung totoong financial advisor ka marunong ka dapat mag advise ng kliente how to legally pay less taxes or no taxes at all

or even how to hide wealth...

I like this table. It's called tensegrity table. It uses tension to make it stand. May nagbebenta kaya ng ganito sa pinas or maybe this is custom built. Kahit hindi exactly like this but same concept.

    Saw this from reddit.

Yes Doc, that's the point why I want to buy it. It's a conversation piece. A visitor might stare at it for a long time and wonder how it works. I saw the one who built this on YouTube and he danced on top of it.

It seems the 4 tension cable at corners should be tight enough so the top won't spin or wobble. This piece needs some precision engineering to build.
