Does your friend posts it on FB? I am on the other side of the fence & after Duts won, some friends & relatives were still posting “news”, pro & con. Eventually, I found both tiring. Nanalo na, so bakit pa babanatan at yung iba naman, bakit pa ididiin ang pagka panalo. Since I don’t want those contents on my wall, any friend or relative will either have themselves unfriended or unseen if they posts anything political. It’s better than argueing with them. Wala kasing katapusan.

I unfriended most of my friends who support du30.

Very few i don't kasi they don't post fake news naman and our frienship is more important than our political views.

We don't need this negativity in our life. Trust me when i say socmed has been 100x brighter without those DDS posting fake news.

Negative friends and fake news are deadly combinations. Lalo na sa mga may depression....
I hope socmed admin filter those fake news.... and we can always ignore and delete those negative friends...

I have since deactivated my old FB account & the new one is only for relatives & my petty interests. I have a rule, any political posts will get their profiles hidden, since relatives sila (not unfriended). Gusto ko kasi wholesome. No negativity.

Thinking if I should unfollow those friends kaso naisip ko din parang it will do more damage if mas dumami sila? Kaya for me if time permits I try to comment, share some insights na sana kahit papano mapaisip sila.

I don’t look for fights / debate online, bihira lang yun like what I’ve said medyo personal to me and I have my facts with me.

Sadly ang usual outcome eh you’ll just be ignored and they will still go on.

Iba talaga social media, daming cases yun akala mong maayos ang disposition magugulat ka na lang out of this world ang pinaninindigan.

Sa FB, I don’t really care about the number of friends or likes I have there. Most of them are just acquaintances I hardly know, anyway. Besides, suplado kasi ako. I don’t really care much about what they ate for lunch or whatever.So, I just kept it between my relatives.

Precisely. You can limit your feed to those & your petty interests. It’s also useful for messenger. Just because you have FB means you have to accept every friend request. I’ve ignored tons of it.

Messenger & viber are useful for communicating & calling significant people overseas. It is free, saves money, video call pa. Links for professional interests can also be shared between colleagues. I’ve got Messenger & viber groups for both sides of the family & for work related organizations I’m a member of. There is a lot of use for it beyond socializing.
Like I said, suplado ako. Some friends added me to this viber group & I hardly know most of them. What they talk about is so foreign to me so I just left it. There is also a HS batch viber group that’s been flooding my box with nonsense chatter, so I left that too. I choose the content I like.

It can trigger depression and worsen it in some cases.

I get anxious reading bad news everytime our beloved president (🤢🤮🤮) f's us.

Before I was thinking of deactivating my fb, kaso minsan dun ko lang malalaman if a friend or classmates or relative may birthday, dun ko sila ma greet. But I usually browse lng, I don't post or comment na, and dun ko lang din ma monitor activities ng mga kids but problema sila dun walang post hahaha.

Di ko alam what I'll do without my wife, this is the 2nd time I went out without bringing any money[emoji24], hirap rin pag nasanay ka sa China going out cellphone lang dala mo and without bringing your wallet or money, the other day went to fetch my eldest son sa airport, 40 pesos na parking fee wala akong dala, buti kasama ko anak ko [emoji30].

Sure, you get info from the radio but socmed feeds are more timely.

Example lang price movement ng fuel. Sa radyo/tv you usually hear the news on Mondays. Sa Twitter you can get info as early as Friday afternoon.

Another yung announcement ng mga Sale.

Sa PAGASA, they have a live feed of press briefing videos at 5pm. News programs typically start at 6pm and, unless there's a major weather disturbance, the weather report comes at the last parts of the program pa.
