I never actually watched the video of this incident in detail nor did I follow it up that much on other social media forums, but somewhere in my mind I was thinking that the janitress may have been "provoked" so to speak to act in a more "aggressive" manner. I was even thinking that maybe the janitress have told the trans to use the other bathroom but the trans is hard headed and won't listen. She's been told not just once but maybe many many times and just refuses to listen, so what's a poor janitress to do when someone keeps ignoring her "authority"?

So somehow I was correct because the trans did actually come back to sort of taunt her with implied threat by "videoing" her -- and that really irritated the janitress more. She should have just asked to talk to management if she wanted to fight for her rights.

She was 6 steps away from the restroom when it hit her. Ako nga nakauwi na ng bahay bumalik pa sa establishment (5 min away) to ask for a manager to complain. It happens.

She felt she needed to fight for her rights and report it and she thought of the video as a proof. Janitress got triggered, the rest is history.

Well that's her. Me? I would've asked to talk to higher management, that's it. I don't think video is even needed to talk to the "complaints" department / customer service, or whatever it's called. One's word / narration should be good enough in most cases. Aggravating an already explosive situation is just not in my character and from others' experience, always ends up worse. And it's better to talk and articulate when you're level headed than when you're angry as hell. Just my humble opinion.

i was once flashing color slides of medical conditions, to the students.

What I am trying to say bro. is, it is Uncomfortable to go to the Comfort Room with our fellow human beings who are cross-dressing (men to women). But given the choice, I would prefer them sharing the comfort room with us, men, than for them to share the comfort room with women, as some may be just pretending and planning something bad.

And I agree that in this case, legislation should favor the majority.

For us individuals,- same is true with anything public,- no one owns the area,- so don't do anything that will inconvenience the rest of your fellow human beings.

The whole situation probably escalated because of the actions as well of the trans. Hindi naman siguro magagalit agad janitress unless she was really provoked din. Based on experience, iba magalit mga trans kapag nasisita, nagtataray talaga eh. So malamang na-embeyerna si janitress talaga.

If we could only know the whole incident sana.

our local CRs are somewhat... cramped.
if they were as roomy as what we sometimes see in american movies, perhaps i would be more tolerant of my sharing it with ex-men who share the same XY as me.

but sharing it with ex-women... that's something else.

perhaps our decision-makers should see it from all angles, before making clear policy.
