Yes definitely agree bro. When I'm abroad I use my credit card almost exclusively, minimal cash lang kasi laki ng patong ng money changer. Useful din for online purchases. But any card will do - doesn't have to be fancy naman.

I think having one card is a great convenience. But right now I don't see the need for many cards yet. Baka pag nagkapamilya na ko. [emoji23]

I have only 2 cards bro (MC and AMEX). One is for local and 1 for overseas. I believe one should be enough but the AMEX was offered for free with 2 CLs - PHP and USD. Plus free access to MIASCOR lounge at T1. Unfortunately, their contract was not extended.

So around 1.6% rebate. If hindi waived yung annual fee, then quits lang.

Basically, yung mga nakakaipon ng free trips from miles, malakas rin gumastos. For example, Manila-Osaka is around 15,000 miles. At 30 pesos per mile with Citi, that's 450k spending. Di ako umaabot ng ganun, hindi kasi ako VIP. [emoji23]

WHAT DO WOMEN SEE IN MY KUYA???

So my Kuya is 44 and on his second annulment. First wife was same age as my Kuya and and looked like the young Bernadette Sembrano (comes from a good family and has a good education and job) Second wife was younger than I am and a law student back then. Good looking as well and came from the same Uni as the first wife.

Now my kuya has a new GF and she is GORGEOUS. WTF!!! She was so pretty, I told her outright "I am mesmerized with your face" My Kuya has a type, maputi na girl next door type. I asked her what her lahi is because she is definitely mixed. I was surprised when she said Chinese because she does NOT look Chinese (and those are they types na maganda talaga) Aquiline nose, small red lips, perfect teeth, black hair, kinis ng balat. Naisip ko lang, pabata ng pabata GF ng Kuya ko. I thought mid 20s pa lang. I almost fell from my chair that she is a little older than I am! WTF! My kuya said "akala mo sakin cradle snatcher?" HAHAHA

Anyway, I don't get it kasi sa ganda ng second wife at mas lalo na new GF ng Kuya ko, why get someone with baggage (ex wife and kid)? Dalaga naman sila. They have good education and family. They don't need money. When my Kuya's second wife met my Kuya, mid 20s pa lang siya. So it really makes me wonder what they see in my Kuya. I think kasi sobrang Alpha type ng Kuya ko

From what I noticed over the years, generally mas madali makahanap ng SO ang single dads than moms. Even if both sides kept themselves fit and healthy.

Di ako naniniwala sa miles and points, kaya ko nagbayad ng card kasi wala ako pera noon pangkasal, bonus na lang yun points na find out ko later, so hayun pinambayad ko din ng next credit card billing haha

Yun miles I convert them kagad to whatever monetrary value na pede ibigay ng airline, usually GC sa starbucks and other resto. Never ako nag-iipon sa mga ganyan points, credits, miles.
Ginagastos ko kagad.



Citibank nga ngaun lagi may bigay na Sodexo if heavy user ka, pagkakakuha ko ng GC stock kagad ako ng corned beef, spam, sa bahay. Kasi meron times la ako pera, corned beef saka tinapay lang dinner ko, pero nilalagyan ko nman ng itlog para masarap naman.

really? There is a scientific study kasi that women are less likely to partner with a single Dad because women by nature want to nurture their own offspring. Also, it's more difficult for women because the shadow of the ex-wife is always there because of the child/children.

The second wife he met through work also, they were BF GF for at least 6 yrs, after 1 year of marriage, nag hiwalay na

Yung GF niya ngayon, di ko pa alam how they met. Pero matindi kasi these women are young and eligible, mga dalaga naman, well educated and come from good families. Sobrang ganda ng recent GF, halos titigan ko na lang all through out. Very refined and well bred. I love my Kuya but when it comes to relationships, kawawa mga asawa niya kasi iniiwan niya talaga pag may hindi siya nagustuhan.

Akala ko nga magdo downgrade na Kuya ko when it comes to his GFs, because he has a HUGE BAGGAGE. I was thinking malabo na na may eligible pa to make him patol kasi twice na hiwalay, may anak, tapos mid 40s na. But no, lalo pa nagi improve mga GF

My SA told me that they normally only accept up to 100k using a CC, but since I’m a returning customer, they would make an exception.

That's so messy when there's a kid in the equation. Lol.

It does complicate things A LOT. The parents will always be connected with the ex. It's hard enough to deal with full blooded relatives, how much more for "step" relationships

She might change her mind. I was like that up until my early 30s. I DO NOT like babies and children (with a few exceptions) I LOLd at 1:40-1:45 because that is SO ME! hahaha! But when I reached my mid 30s, I suddenly want babies I think it's something biological (because I am near the end of my reproductive stage)

My close friend was also like her. She is adopted so her disinterest in (and having) children is deeply rooted in her past. She also said that if she is ready for a child, she will adopt rather than have a child of her own. BUT when she got married at 34 and had a child at 38, she was so ecstatic about being a Mom. BTW she conceived naturally. She said it does not matter if she does not get pregnant, but if she does then it's okay also. She told me having a child brought her so much happiness. Total 180 from not wanting kids.
