Peace of mind... Knowing that you have a significant amount that's just parked there and that you can tapped anytime in case of emergency.

Sample sa hospital nanaman if suddenly meron emergency and kailangan meron gawin procedure, malaking amount kailangan you have no access to your account at the time ..swipe na lang agad

    Yes we've established that.
What I was asking was if other forms of payment are available.

kaya ko mag-walk-in sa Mitsubishi and get a Montero Sport without using any of my bank account yan ang advantage ng hi-end credit cards, I am a VIP credit card holder because I maximize all the credit facilities of each of my card, in turn sila na nag-increase ng credit limit ko

kaya nga sabi ko sayo juts, magsimula ka ng mangutang ngaun. in Today's world, hindi VIP maraming pera, ang VIP ay ang magaling magbayad ng utang.

Bro - I guess if the hospital knows you, then a check is acceptable. Have not tried it though.... In other countries, it is good as cash and we are moving in that direction.... Debit card, not sure. I am thinking they'd be directing you to a nearby ATM card, unless their pos supports it too.

    Thinking now...

Those who illegally park in the PWD slot should be liable for their action (heavy cash penalty). Many Filipinos are so thick-faced with this, even acting as if they're one and making false claims that their female companion is pregnant. Hey, it is a PWD slot, not a pregnant person parking slot! You can always drop off your pregnant passenger and park.

In fairness, the guards of Robinsons Las Pinas question them, but did they give up their slot? No, makapal mukha nila e.... Pero sa ibang bansa, bahag mga buntot nila sa pagiging law abiding....

    Bakit tayo ganyan???

Wala ba limit for debit card? Hindi ba siya considered as ATM withdrawal na may daily limit?

    On CC

    Before I maintain 3 cards

1 with a big limit, 2 cards with 50K limit only.

Niretain ko na lang yung may malaki na limit.

Isang due date na lang isipin.

For emergency nga din and I agree with hospitalization. Wala ako HMO pero I can reimburse sa office, kaya better if CC ipambayad then reimburse. Hindi na ako naglabas ng cash.

Okay din when you travel abroad, no need to bring and exchange for foreign currency.

Dami promos/freebies discount kaso you need to spend din, minsan you ended up spending para mahabol yung promo.

Bro have you actually done that???

I have a friend who used to work in Citi, and he told me that there was only one case in the country where a person used his cc to purchase a vehicle... That was over ten years ago, and so may have changed....

My cards credit limits, individually, will not be able to buy an SUV....

90s and earlier may prestige pa kapag may credit card, lalo na pag naka gold or platinum because banks were strict in issuing cards (my Kuya used to work for cards department). 2000's, some banks became liberal and started issuing cards to blue collar workers. My first job was at the cards department so I know this. Company drivers binibigyan din ng card.

Hindi ba olats sa interest if you use CC instead of the usual car loan? Unless of course you did it for convenience and intend to pay at cut-off, or you have a special installment plan lower than bank rates.

It's stupid to do that dahil napaka laki ng interest ng card. It really blows my mind bakit may mga tao na college grad pero pinapa revolve and card, paying only the minimum. Malulubog ka talaga sa utang. Okay siya if you will pay the full amount sa due date, ang daming points nun. hahahah. Sa BPI, naka P1000 worth of points na ko just from my purchases.

It's common sense though. If you only pay the interest and then keep purchasing month on month, then it will balloon up.

The human mind is not always rational. Even common sense is sometimes not common.
