    It's the closest get away to Manila and a lot of good restaurants. I really miss those days when we can go to Tagaytay on a whim (up until the mid 2000s) Now it's just too much traffic.

    We used to do that also, up to mid 2000's. Haven't been there in awhile.

    Those restos are also here in manila..if someone tells me balay dako or antonios, there are better resto here in manila..

    compared to manila, it's a wee bit cooler, and the pollution is somewhat less.

    i asked a tagaytay native, what they do on these holidays.
    "lumuluwas kami sa maynila."

    Hmmm so we may conclude that holidays are meant to do things we do not usually do, go places we do not usually go during regular days.
