August 17th, 2017 11:15 AM #14707weight versus height is by no means a perfect gauge for health status.
but it is painless, very cheap and very easy to do. it makes for a good screening tool.
as i am sure, there are always exceptions to the rule.
lebron is not an ordinary person. he is not the norm. he is not norm-al. he and others like him, are exceptions to the rule. and i am sure, being an extra-ordinary person, his parameters of health status are not the same as the average person's. his health problems are different from the average juan's.
it would not do, to compare the average person against super-athletes.

August 17th, 2017 11:36 AM #14708yes doc, pero sad to say its out of date, i did some reseach, the formula is from the 1830s pa, at a time when people was smaller like rizal who was documented as below 5 feet..you are right doc, the waistline is a better gauge of obesity/overweight, formula for that is height in inches divided by 2, thats our ideal waistline..

I have a theory that the perfect waistline for men at any height is 32"
My college ex (6'+) and my cousin (5'10"+), 32" waist in their teens until now. Really nice body
I also went out with a guy who is around 5'6" and he also had a 32" waist.
Anyway, basta maganda katawan ng guy, sigurado nasa 32" +/- ang waist. Si crush ko ganda pa rin ng katawan in his 40s.Last edited by _Cathy_; August 17th, 2017 at 04:42 PM.
