Encountered one a few months back when I was coming from Guadalupe Bridge going towards Shaw. Lady driver in a Vios who couldn't manage make singit into my lane due to traffic. She started swerving aggressively from the right lane to my lane. Even after she was able to get into my lane, when I was able to pass her car from another lane, she rolled down her window, gave me the one-finger salute and was really shouting at me. Sus! Hindi ko na pinatulan. She eventually made a right to Pioneer Street but I could still see her screaming her lungs out.

Pass on the plate number of the vehicle these women drove, so our fellow tsikoteer be reminded and aware of those female motorist, once remembered and seen on the road.

I think lady drivers in vioses are gaining notoriety.

Another one today - she crossed an intersection (turning left) and DID NOT LOOK TO THE RIGHT. It's a good thing the taxi that was just going straight didn't hit her. No tint siya. I saw that she did not look at all because I was at full stop and she passed right in front of my car. Wow.

I noticed mga walang tint mga balasubas na babae sa daan. I think they have some sort of entitlement that drivers (men) are supposed to give way to them. Matiempohan sana sila ng mahina ang reflex. Hahaha.

    Re: lady drivers
Reminds me of my wife's late girl friend who we once rode with in Marikina. Everytime any vehicle seemed to be getting too close (when actually they were still within their respective lanes) she would blast her horn with matching point and p.i. Even a lone pedestrian walking along the side of the road in a subdivision was not spared from her horn's fury. What's funny is she would converse normally with my wife then suddenly switch to beast mode whenever a vehicle creeps towards us.

In fairness though, I think she was just too afraid to get into an accident kaso sumobra naman sa pagiging aggressive bumusina.

I have extremely dark tint even gas attendants would say good evening sir and would get surprised when I open the door I hate these lady drivers who drive like maniacs expecting everyone to give way.

Ako benefit of the doubt, either newbies lang talaga on the road.
Saw that nung wife ko nag drive, pero yun nga I make it a point na pointed out sa kanya yung mali niya or ano ba dapat ang gagawin.

Ideally she knows it na pero yun nga sa actual minsan makakalimutan lalo na andaming factors na hindi mo controlled for a newbie driver.

And what is it with women driving to close to the steering wheel? I adjust my position by sitting back and with my left arm fully extended, my wrist should rest on top of the steering wheel. My Dad cringes when he sees women who drive too close to the steering wheel. IMO I think it's very unsafe. It's hard to manoeuvre too.

I'm hating on lady drivers recently. I am definitely staying away esp those in a Vios. Kanina naman may babae nakamontero nag overshoot sa parking. Buti di ako nahagip! Hay!!!!

Pinipilit nila tanawin yung clearance ng hood na hindi naman talaga matatanaw.

Buti hindi ganyan esmi ko, proper naman distance on seating and hands on steering.

+1 on the gap tees. Bought a bunch sa Japan kasi cheaper compared here, ilan washes lang humaba siya and lumuwag. Ang lousy na tingnan pag suot. hindi ko na magamit.

I like M&S for their undergarments.

BTT: I think I really lack empathy and self awareness. It's a good thing my office BFF now reminds me of my "mistakes"

Good observation. I mostly seen a lot of it all the time, even too some newbie young men too. Natawa lang ako sa pagkakasabi mo. Pero malamang yun ang totoo. "Pinipilit nila tanawin yun clearance ng hood na hindi naman talaga matatanaw".

Upright and close to the steering wheel is actually the correct driving position. It is also the safest position. If you get into an accident with your arms and legs extended you will most likely break your bones and they will be projectiles. Having your arms and elbow at an angle to the steering wheel prevents this. Look at all the seating positions in nascar, GT, rally etc. The driver sits upright close to the steering wheel.
