Germany just voted no more new vehicles with internal combustion engines by 2030, and completely phase out ICE by 2050 including industrial/agri/machines. Kasalanan ni vw to haha.

paps, my guess is theyre assuming by that time, battery technology will also catch up ala moore's law, lets say capacity doubles every 5 years, by 2030 it will suffice

It's hard to convince the wife we don't need a vehicle with a big seating capacity anymore. I told her most of our nieces and nephews are old enough to drive and they have their own vehicles. They also have their own lives. It's not going to be easy to gather them together for a trip somewhere.

Not like in New York state where there are many Filipinas who don't like driving during winter. We often gave them rides. There, a 3-row vehicle will see good use. Here? There's just the four of us.

Yet, she still insists on an 8/7 seater. Me? I still want a midsize sedan, preferably with AWD. The desert roads up north still get snow during winter. I also wouldn't mind 300+ hp.

    1. very welcome when it rains and your aircon doesn't work.
    2. when passing some object in or out the window, in strong rain.

    3. Useful also during our unpredictable weather. When parked outside, you can leave the windows slightly open to let the hot air out, & not worry should it rain.

Thinking of whether to buy iPad mini 4 or not, or iPad Air 2. Anyone one who have it?

I never thought i'd get a response on my musings. hehe. Thanks for making time 😊

I woke a few mins ago to my subconcious self reminding me i've got to register the suv today. I'm amazed how the mind sorts itself out after all the mixed distracting circus of having a recent death in the family brings

to be or not to be, that always confuses me!
