^ Yeah, madami sa Quiapo...forgot the name of the street. i've had mixed results though. i had two pairs made about 2-3 years ago - - naenganyo ako sa presyo -- yung isa pang backup.
My main pair was OK, pero yung backup pair ko, isang buwan kong sinuot, isang buwan ako nahihilo. i was forced to get a new pair when the plastic frame cracked at the corners of the rim. i didn't want to chance it so nagpagawa ako sa Vision Express at the mall.
Weird thing is, pareho lang yung grado nung tatlong pair, but i was never comfortable with the backup glasses. i'm guessing it's either nag warp yung frame, mali yung paglagay ng lens(hence the cracking), or something wrong with the lens itself.
i'm thinking about trying out the Flexon eyeframes i saw on Amazon para me backup uli ako.
That's why I change my glasses minimum 5 years. The lens are also expensive. It's a good thing my grade doesn't change naman 120 100
i uncovered an unopened pack of egg noodles that expired September last year. Didn't see any bukbok or other bugs inside, should be OK to cook/eat right?
progressive lenses are very expensive.
the traditional bifocal lenses are much cheaper.
there are those who prefer progressives, and others who prefer traditional bifocals.
progressives also do not show the reading part of the lenses. "young look", some would call the lenses, because hindi nabibisto ang edad nila. (the need for reading glasses sets in at about age 40 or so.)
i had progressives once. i didn't like 'em. others swear by 'em.
kanya-kanyang choice lang.

My wife is in her late 30s but looks younger than she really is. She was asked the same thing when she asked about progressive lenses. I guess that's a common thing, inappropriate as it may seem. Even our ophthalmologist asked our age before telling us that we'll be needing "doble vista" glasses soon.
