Today, nagpalagay ako ng gas sa jerry can ko. i usually gas up in caltex, and i just buy regular (silver) gas.

so sabi ko lang: "paki puno silver". nagulat ako bakit 333 pesos ang price eh usually 290-something lang kapag pinapapuno ko yung jerry can...

when i went home, binuhos ko yung kalahati sa vw bug ko, tapos nakita ko pula yung kulay! bakit pula tapos iba yung amoy? nun tiningnan ko yung reciept, caltex platinum pala ang ilinagay ng gasoline boy! (kaya pala mahal hehehe)

i've never used premium gas, not even a friend of mine who used to own a bmw m5 (which required premium gas)...

so i took this opportunity to do some testing... i removed the fuel pump of my sentra from the gas tank, and placed it in a small container that contained some of this caltex platinum. i then cycled the key (on and off a few times) to make sure all the gas in the fuel rail is the caltex platinum.

upon startup everything seemed the same... i warmed up the engine a bit then i revved it, all the same...

BUT! i noticed na iba ang amoy ng exhaust gas, hindi siya kasing tapang ng amoy ng silver (nasa garage lang ang sentra ko kasi sira ang clutch kaya kulob talaga ang exhaust fume pag nakastart, pero well ventilated ang garage).

bakit kaya? does the premium fuel burn cleaner kaya wala masyado amoy? is combustion more complete? or maybe theres "less fuel in the gas" thats why it doesnt smell as much? or is it just placebo?

Bakit kailangan Meron fine for DL? I mean it's not like car registration that you have no choice kailangan talaga mag renew Pero for DL it's your choice kung gusto mo magkano license or wala.

To encourage motorists to renew their DL on time. Sayang naman daw kasi yung mga araw if you can't use your priviledge to drive your registered car dahil sa expired license- so they imposed fine [emoji4]

What happens if you drive over to the lto to have your expired license renewed? Issuehan ka ng ticket?

Baka naman naaabala sila pag delayed ang pagrenew ng lisensya? Baka may projected collection amount na sila per day based on the number of licenses issued at kelangan ma-meet yun? With our kind of government, I'm not surprised if that idea about imposing fines was pulled out of thier collective asses.

i've heard about trade between China and the Roman Empire, but never with Japan. i haven't checked the timeline yet, but Japan did have run-ins with the Mongols, who did have dealings/run-ins with Romans. Maybe the coin was carried on the Mongol ships that tried to invade Japan, which was in turn recovered by the Japanese?

Limit your spending. I've had officemates before na wala pang 30k monthly sahod. Gross yun so minus taxes pa pero nakabili ng lupa at bahay. Of course adjust your expectations. Syempre cavite or laguna or provincial area na.
